I don’t know how you manage to give SO MUCH VALUE in such short videos but - THANK YOU! You have helped (and encouraged) me to improve my designs through sharing your knowledge in such an approachable way. As a self-taught designer, I appreciate you so much more than you know! THANK YOU!
Thank you for so many tips! I keep having this one problem that all my logo designs feel... lacking. I feel they all look unprofessional, unfinished, and too flat.
At 6:40, you missed an interesting aspect of the FedEx logo: If you look at the "junction" between the letters E and X, it forms a right-pointing arrow to indicate movement, getting to the destination, etc.
I'm kinda partial to Typographic logos, mostly in fashion brands. Of course every logo type has its place and best use-cases but there's something about being creative with just using type than having it accompany some kind of image graphic.
Hii , I am finding a video in which mindmeister tool is described by satori graphics with example (like brid including in logo) Please suggest me this video which is uploaded by satori graphics on this channel.. Thank you.
I'd say with the current design there's no need to include the name in the avatar as it's displayed anyway, as this takes up valuable real estate, so just the symbol would do. Also what's the message you want your brand to say?
I'd ditch the square box and the redundant diagonal "CODA4" on the logo. I also think there's a mismatch with the font and logo, something pointed out in the video, where the logo is more angular than the text, so perhaps experiment with a round version of the logo rather than hexagonal (might look like a Fantastic 4 logo though lol), or conversely a more angular font. Just my $.02
@@dannyr2976 know what you mean about removing the text for the avatar. The message is tricky. We will be providing synth patches and instruments for music composers for film / tv and videogames etc. Later on, we will also be a sync agency {composers sell their music to a film studio for example} and possibly a game studio so wanted the logo to appeal across all of those media sectors. I guess i was going for a playstation style look with the logo initially.
Can you imagine hiring someone to make a logo design for a satellite instillation company and after waiting they present you and rather too happy looking cartoon satellite my god.
The first logo redesign was too generic and I would not be able to remember what it belonged to. I know of at least one but I think there are two local companies with designs almost identical to that one. The mountain bike logo redesign was also in the same boat. If I saw it out in the wild I would have no clue what it was for and would likely forget it rather quickly. The pre-redesign logos in both cases were in my opinion, as a consumer and potential customer, much more recognizable and identifiable to the companies they represent.
Wow, I obviously imagined the world-famous disastrous logo of the oriental school would have been replaced. But never saw the new one until now. That's an actual improvement, a very well job. No more dick inside the hole xD
Coincidentally, the first simplified version of the logo resembles to one of my client's newly started venture called SAMADAAN's logo. They essentially deal in home furnishing. You can see this in Facebook or insta if you wish to.
Valid point. Funny thing is I look at all slides at least 10x when making a video. But this video was finished 15 minuets before I posted it, so it was rushed

How did you find that, my portfolio? Thanks :)
@@SatoriGraphics Yes, I did. Nah-ice! 👍
What font do you use on thumbnail ?
I can't find it anywhere
Either Basement Grotesque or Archivo. Both free for commercial use and found via Google

Our logo definitely needs polishing up. Would love some thoughts on it.
I suggest heading to my free Discord server (linked in the description), and posting it on the critique section

That's pretty cool 👍
That typo in the first slide - intonthe
Do you actually review your videos? I would with 1million subscribers.
The very first slide? that isn't even my design, that's a logo taken from the internet to explain a point
@@SatoriGraphics I never wrote that this was your design, I wrote: do you review your videos? Look at 0:43 😂 So my point is: Review your videos.
