This mod looks amazing!!! I'm trying it out on my own world but thank you for making it, I always loved scrape and run but its not for 1.20.1 also other mods like the flesh that hates and the spore mod are annoying because they infect everything and you cant even make a base, so I love your mod! Keep up the good work and eventually please add your own variants of cool bosses in the later phases like scrape and run does, thank you so much dude its so fun
Yeah, from what I know the infection mode tend to have chunk loading at least around their major spreaders so that “imma just leave” doesn’t actually stop them, which is likely the source of the lag
you should add Guard Villigers and Villiger recruits so they can somewhat defend themselves and maybe Alex mobs so the general wotld has more defence against these guys, as well as giving you the ability to tame animals to help fight off infections

Once Scape and Run Parasites is updated to the newer versions, and can be added with this... It would probably be impossible to do anything once all the infections are stronger.
They can survive well but the fungal fortress has the downside that the flood begins to spawn inside and by that point the sangheili combat forms appears and it is basically over for everything inside, i tried it several times and always happens before a calamity mob can be spawned
There are two mods I can recommend that would be really fun to add with infection mods and maybe play with friends #1 is timeless and classic zero you can also add some addons for this mod too to make it more immersive #2 is marbles arsenal, you will probably have to give some of the items in creative first because there a little hard to get😄
The only ones missing were "From Another World" and that Mutationcraft remake (that I just can't remember the name, sorry lol) But for real, the fact this guy didn't just die immediately, like man I would have died just by the sounds that the Flesh That Hates make ☠️

Dude, respect because you are crazy, already 1 mod is already hard but then 6... on the other hand if you add the mod "from another world" you will mess up this mess, for me "The Thing" is the hardest infection. If you add it you will probably not succeed or almost impossible.
The sculk horde seems less menacing, i know you can distract the sculk and destroy it while its busy. Unironically i think it held off every infection except the last of us one while not immediately blinding you when entering their territory.
Here's how to combat the infections: Sculk Horde: Try not to make noise in infested areas and have good equipment Spore: Craft weapons and armor with drops from the Infected and go to a cold biome (where Infected are weak and slow) From Another World: Use fire-related weapons like Flint and Steel, freeze Things, and carefully not to fall into Disguised Tendrils traps The Flesh that Hates: Pour lava into Incubators and burn the infected areas after killing them _(Expanded with replies below!)_
From my own Testing the flesh will dominante IF it gets to biotransformation Phase early. Withering has a Chance to kill the flesh If the infection moves under the flesh incubator. Sculk will be the Most aggressive blockinfection. Prion and Flood wont be there all that much. They can't really fight the other mods. Oh and spore will be a bit under the Radar until the proto hivemind spawns. Really interested in how this turns out here 😁. Phayriosis Parasite Infection is also a really really good Mod for this. Aggressive Block Infection but weak entities. (Is quite strong against spore If there is water around).
In recent versus battles the Sculk has defeated the Flesh and the Spore, it is gaining more intelligence and strength with each new update it gets, if this continues it may become the most terrifying infection of them all.

Challenges like this, you should have some sort of headstart. At least full Leather Armor & maybe Stone Tools/Guns to START. And slowly upgrade to Iron. Because multiple infection mods is one hell of a challenge. But I guess that's one part of the challenge. But dying early and repeatedly is expected.
Zero clue if you've heard of it, but there is also an infection mod called From Another World, where it is kinda like the earlier version of The Flesh That Hates. I have heard of all these infection mods from this youtuber, called Karat Feng, and the only other mod I'd say you didn't have may not actually count as an infection mod, but more of an invasion mod; the Mi Alliance. It wouldn't have been better if those infection mods were on Fabric as well. You may have more FPS with all the optimisation mods fabric has, but your world will be lagging as hell and there's no mod that can fix server lag without breaking anything on neither modloaders.
Maybe next time you could install Alex's Caves to help against the infection. I'm sure a kaiju and a few nukes will do the trick. If it don't, Domesticated Innovation could be installed too to further boost a pet like a dinosaur or the affirmationed kaiju

Try spacing out the infection mods to every few to 5 days. Or just start them later so u have a grace period to get some decent gear. Because as youve seen alot of them can be brutal
I've noticed only 3 people have ever tried using traps against the dwellers next time you do a video on one could you test out lava molts, entity cramming, and even tnt traps. That would be cool to see.
the reason that you minecarft was laging so much is not do to the 5 infection mods that you have but is it do to the withering away:reborn mod. this mod is BYOND unoptimized see it for your self make a world with ONLY the withering away:reborg mod and after 20 minutes ish you will see how lagy it will become i would say remove the withering away:reborn mod. and then continue the series as the mod makes the world so laggy that it cant be played on.
Something Else that Could Also Cause Lag is The Sculk Horde and Flesh Fighting. The More Mobs that Die, The More Mobs the Infections Spawn. I Tried To Make them Fight on a World Once, Both of them Were Just Spamming Armies of Infected, And Eventually it Got So Laggy my Game Crashes.
It's not Withering Away anymore, it's the amount of entities the Scuk Horde creates fighting the Flesh That Hates. Since the Sculk Horde has it's own entity count, when a Flesh That Hates mob kills a Sculk Horde mod, the Sculk Horde summons more entities. While TFTH gains entities by killing the Sculk Horde. It's an endless entity generating cycle.
Honestly scape and run alone is scarier than most of these mods. It’d probably be absolute hell to survive that and all of these, especially without any gun mods or anything. Still would be fun to watch, if it’s ever ported.
Im surprised that the parasites werent in here, since theyre usually one of the more popular infection mods, but i like that you added some smaller ones that less people knew
The Reason Scape and Run Parasites Wasn't In Here is Because All These Infection Mods are Only for Newer Versions Like 1.20.1, While Srp is Stuck in 1.12.2
I honestly want to play with u lol, I also play spore and do a form of wandering and “cleansing” the land on the way with things in America we call guns, caves and labs suck a lot sure u can get CDUs but you need to take out rm”s flesh mounds can be a true hassle as well with their agonizingly fast replication skills if left untouched
I tested adding all 12 infection mods i know and heard of to my creative world just to see what would happen and there were clear winners in terms of mobs and in terms of block conversion. But it was chaotic. And tip when playing with multiple infection mods add performance mods. Every single one you know and can find.
@@Jamsteo there is, they changed forms, sculk sickness, biohazard, a second flood mod called flood infestation, sculky bits (which is an infection mod) and i also had other mods like spires which aren't really infection mods. most of these are fairly new and less developped so it's logical you didn't know about them. A lot of other infection mods outside of those exist too but aren't relevant enough.

it's reasonable that you didn't add one of the first infection mods (scape and run parasites) seeing as if it summons 1 tier 3 beacon its over for you and everything else, also because in phase 5 i think they can eat like 10 nuclear grenades from HBMS nuclear tech mod at point blank range and then brush it off like it was but a scratch. another reason is that its way to aggressive way to early on, what i mean is that other infection mods usually first gain a bit of mass then start infection in large numbers while SRP just kills everything already at day 10
also the parasites from SRP can only be hurt by lava and nothing else when a tier 4/5 beacon spawns and phase 8 starts because they then automatically adapt to all damage types except that

Try spacing out the infection mods to every few to 5 days. Or just start them later so u have a grace period to get some decent gear. Because as youve seen alot of them can be brutal

I've noticed only 3 people have ever tried using traps against the dwellers next time you do a video on one could you test out lava molts, entity cramming, and even tnt traps. That would be cool to see.

the reason that you minecarft was laging so much is not do to the 5 infection mods that you have but is it do to the withering away:reborn mod. this mod is BYOND unoptimized see it for your self make a world with ONLY the withering away:reborg mod and after 20 minutes ish you will see how lagy it will become i would say remove the withering away:reborn mod. and then continue the series as the mod makes the world so laggy that it cant be played on.
Something Else that Could Also Cause Lag is The Sculk Horde and Flesh Fighting. The More Mobs that Die, The More Mobs the Infections Spawn. I Tried To Make them Fight on a World Once, Both of them Were Just Spamming Armies of Infected, And Eventually it Got So Laggy my Game Crashes.

It's not Withering Away anymore, it's the amount of entities the Scuk Horde creates fighting the Flesh That Hates.
Since the Sculk Horde has it's own entity count, when a Flesh That Hates mob kills a Sculk Horde mod, the Sculk Horde summons more entities. While TFTH gains entities by killing the Sculk Horde. It's an endless entity generating cycle.
It made me hurt so much when he didn't see the plethora of iron blocks in that village in the beginning

Honestly scape and run alone is scarier than most of these mods. It’d probably be absolute hell to survive that and all of these, especially without any gun mods or anything. Still would be fun to watch, if it’s ever ported.
Also if you do a sequel to this add the From Another World mod. The more chaos the better :)

The Reason Scape and Run Parasites Wasn't In Here is Because All These Infection Mods are Only for Newer Versions Like 1.20.1, While Srp is Stuck in 1.12.2
It's incompatible with this version thats for 1.12.2 this is 1.20.1

I honestly want to play with u lol, I also play spore and do a form of wandering and “cleansing” the land on the way with things in America we call guns, caves and labs suck a lot sure u can get CDUs but you need to take out rm”s flesh mounds can be a true hassle as well with their agonizingly fast replication skills if left untouched

I tested adding all 12 infection mods i know and heard of to my creative world just to see what would happen and there were clear winners in terms of mobs and in terms of block conversion. But it was chaotic. And tip when playing with multiple infection mods add performance mods. Every single one you know and can find.

@@Jamsteo there is, they changed forms, sculk sickness, biohazard, a second flood mod called flood infestation, sculky bits (which is an infection mod) and i also had other mods like spires which aren't really infection mods. most of these are fairly new and less developped so it's logical you didn't know about them. A lot of other infection mods outside of those exist too but aren't relevant enough.

it's reasonable that you didn't add one of the first infection mods (scape and run parasites) seeing as if it summons 1 tier 3 beacon its over for you and everything else, also because in phase 5 i think they can eat like 10 nuclear grenades from HBMS nuclear tech mod at point blank range and then brush it off like it was but a scratch. another reason is that its way to aggressive way to early on, what i mean is that other infection mods usually first gain a bit of mass then start infection in large numbers while SRP just kills everything already at day 10
also the parasites from SRP can only be hurt by lava and nothing else when a tier 4/5 beacon spawns and phase 8 starts because they then automatically adapt to all damage types except that
srp is incompatible to those mods
I literally CANT add scape and Run Parasites its not even for 1.20.1
I don't know why some people don't know what separate versions are.
