      @Dylan Benedict Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
      Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

    First, it appeared to me the throttle arm was metal. Attaching a metal pushrod to a metal throttle arm is just asking for electro-static noise. After the first time I had that I always used a nylon clevis on the pushrod at the throttle arm.
    Second, the landing gear doors did not fit flush to the wing. They are subject to drag and flutter.

      Thanks for your advice.
      I will consider replacing it with nylon clevis.

    Can you use a 6 channel radio and still have retracts with this plane?

  • @ve3ygl

    Nice. Is the CG perfect? Need any lead weight to the front or back? Tail heavy is the common problem for war birds. How about this one?

    • @muhwang1336
      @muhwang1336  5 років тому

      Yes cg got it right.
      The nose side is rather heavy.

    Can I ask you a question? Which one of these two planes do you prefer the best? The Seagull p47 snafu or the Hangar 9 p51 mustang 20cc? Thank you and happy 2021.

    How many channels are needed for all servo's and with electric landing retracts?

    • @muhwang1336
      @muhwang1336  4 роки тому

      At least eight channels are required.
      The flap uses a 2 flap system.
      Throttle, Aileron, Elevator, Rudder, Two Flap, Landing Gear, Power

    • @darrelc5411
      @darrelc5411 4 роки тому

      @@muhwang1336 The aileron uses 1 servo, or there 4 servos in the wing? 2 flaps and 2 ailerons? I'm thinking about getting this plane, and want retracts, but the site on Horizen Hobby, says 8 also, but with retracts and everything I count 9 channels.

    • @muhwang1336
      @muhwang1336  4 роки тому

      @@darrelc5411 There are four servos on the main wing.
      However
      The channel of the receiver
      Aileron uses one cable with y cable
      The flap uses 2 channels in a 2 flap system.
      The flap can also use one channel for y cable.
      So you need 8 to 9 receiver channels.
