This is probably the most upgraded Super duke that i've seen on the internet.
7:20 could be the riding modes. Throttle response on SPORT mode is quicker than RAIN mode.
I came from a Tuono V4 2020 to this Super Duke and i found the electronics on the Aprilia a lot better.
Interesting feedback from someone who went from a Tuono V4 to an SDR. I usually hear the other way around.
This looks like he robbed my bike, except mine has BSTs... great bike.
Uhm, it's not riding modes, it has the Akra evolution exhaust, so it also has the unrestricted map.
... Unless of course they were complete retards and didnt use the free map that comes with the exhaust. But that is hard to imagine. They would have had to use an ESE and so on.

Also has the Euro spec KTM front turn signals (LED). US version has regular bulbs. Freakin bad ass bike!

Suspension upgrades is the only thing that has been forgotten. Beautiful bike. Love mine evo sdr. Nice upgrades.
I was not able to really test the suspension but it felt pretty good.
For my needs the stock suspension is good enough for me. I do have it dialed in for my weight by Dave Moss and have GoGo’s +10mm Sport Link which improves the handling of the bike.

I like all the options added to his KTM but the "Stealth side mirrors?" You can't even see behind you, Maybe you can see your elbow or your shoulder. But for Aerodynamics it's useful.
Coming from the Doubletake Trail Mirror, visibility with these Stealth Naked mirrors are much better. Yes I can see directly behind me and the next lane over given it’s a smaller sight window. With the naked version you can also adjust the mirror inward or outward at the mirror perch to get the perfect sight window for your needs.
I'm not normally a fan of KTM, but this Super Duke looks insanely awesome. Still not enough to lure me away from a Aprilia RSV4 in that Speed White livery and a obnoxious GP22 exhaust.
2 cylinder engines vs. V4's is almost an unfair comparison.

Why those, why that spot? Aux switch, or tied with HB trigger?
Do they eliminate that blind spot in curves? Did you try any other products, in any other spots?

I went with Clearwater because they are one of the best in the aux light industry. I went with the Glendina lineup because it was their smallest low profile aux light. The aux lights are wired with to DRL so they are always on at 100% brightness. But with my 2.0 SDR they were also wired to my DRL at 80% brightness and when I hit the HB the aux lights goes to 100% but with the change of the electronics and headlights from 2.0 to 3.0 this was no longer possible with the Glendina lights. These aux lights aren’t to improve my night visibility but to increase my visibility to traffic as studies have shown that motorcycles with a triangular light pattern is more visible than a single headlight pattern. People do see me as I experienced less people trying to turn left in front of me and when I lane split/filter people move out the way for me. I’ve been so satisfied with Clearwaters there’s no need for me to try another brands. Clearwater does offer several mounting solutions but I haven’t tried any other positions as I like how it looks mounted on the lower forks. Hope this answers all your questions.

I want to buy one but its a shame this bike is more expensive than a panigale v4 S in my local market. Its a great bike but theres no way im spending 42,000 dollars for a superduke 👎

There are plenty of left over 2022 Evo in the states going for $16,999 USD so say about 21k after taxes with the tech package. The rest of the money spent depends on how much you want to accessorize it and make it your own so you can’t really put a dollar amount on that factor 😅
Cool bike. Nice to see the parts come together on one machine. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure stylema brembo front calipers are standard from 2020 on the superduke and 890 duke r. At least that is what i read on the Rottweiler performance website. I was curious about brake upgrades. I think the M50 brembo was the previous gen calipers. The gp4 rx brembo is the "higher spec" upgrade if it had stylema's.
I think it was the color he was gonig for with the Calipers, I'm not sure.
Victor is correct I wanted the oem black Stylema vs the standard silver colored ones. I did upgrade the pistons to the BrakeTech ventilated stainless steel pistons.
@steveglee I didn't realize they came in different colors depending on bike manufacturer. It looks good with what you chose. Did you notice any difference at the lever with the piston upgrades? Like initial bite or feel ect.
Yes the Stylemas also comes in red for Ducatis and blue for the S1KRR. I would say the Brembo 17 RCS CC made the biggest difference in terms of bite and stopping power. I’m sure the upgrade in wave rotors, sintered brake pads, ventilated pistons, cooling ducts and Castrol SRF Racing Brake fluid also contribute to the overall improvement of stopping power.

Sick bike, but man I miss riding on the CA streets so much, quit riding on the street once I moved to Houston. I didn't know you could have that clutch cover on the KTM!!!
The California canyons are great once you get away from traffic. But even so, race tracks over everything.

That's a tough question because the Ducati is very sexy but the KTM is more pleasurable.

I have a gen 3 SDR here in the UK although not with as many trick bits lol. Yes there’s 3 throttle modes and that one is maybe in track mode. You can also get a race version from KTM. I really like those master cylinders and levers. What’s the view like from those mirrors. I like the style but they need to be practical for me.

I have a friend that lives on the west coast so I’ve visited many times. Last November we rode up the 5 I think it was to Santa Cruz and back down on the PCH.

It’s oem black. The 2020 and 2021 came with black tanks.

Trying to decide if I want to pick up a discounted 2023 EVO R or wait until the 25's start to release and catch a discounted 24' EVO R.... Anyone know if the 24' is worth waiting for? I know the VVT would be very nice but I just street ride so idk that it would really matter to me....
I can't comment on the VVT but I would say buy one sooner rather than later. Enjoy riding season.

4-5K spent on aftermarket parts. Those break discs & wheels are super expensive lol I was looking to get them for my bike until I seen the price tag! They do look good tho.

A lot closer to 7-8. Exhaust is 3 , wheels are 3.5 alone never mind the carbon fiber .

It's definitely the only super naked kinda bike I'd own. It's not a reconfigured/retuned R1, RSV4 or any of the others. It's its own thing all together. Pure unadulterated hooliganism. For when I'm too old for superbikes (I'm going on 55).

Get it right the v4 Ducati and the Bmw M1000 rr arent detuned and they both have more power. Yes those others u mentioned are but dont act like its the only bike thats not detuned. Ktm doesnt make a supersport so they have no choice but to make this the pinnicale. Those other bikes also doesnt make u unlock stuff thats already on the bike. No way nobody can justify that bullshit period.

Smart to narrow it down to those two. I think you have to decided between a V2 or V4. That's the difference you'll experience. Both are absolute refined beasts!

I have the KTM but have had a few tuono v4 factory…..the tuono in my opinion is a much better engine in the v4… like I say I’ve owned multiple tuonos and 2 1290 r KTM

Hi man great bike ❤. I have buy this weeke the same full carbon fiber for my 1290 r evo from ktm. I have a question for you. do the front fairings fit perfectly or in the tank area, to avoid vibrations and scratches to the tank, have you applied rubberized tape between the fairing and the tank?

Fronts are KTM oem led indicators . The Motogadget was plug and play. Just wire them in and they worked.

Checks all the boxes for the optics, but considering all the money being put into the optics, I feel it's kind of a shame nothing went into suspension - for sure there is a WP APEX Pro available for this (Iknow there is for a 890R)?! - and it also doesn't seem to be actually used accordingly - tires and suspension markers indicate nobody is actually riding this properly.. : (

It feels a bit like buying a race/supercar in order to roll around the hip café in walking pace just to show it off.. Victor I got a fully tech loaded 2023 SDR EVO here in Spain and at the KTM shop here reading to loaded with all the aftermarket KTM carbon, Rizoma Stealth mirrors, Austin Racing RS-22 full titanium exhaust with pie cutter design headers (12 weeks to manufactor on order) so I in the short term purchased SC Project CRT carbon slip on but can you ask Steve where he got this carbon fiber undertail assembly ? I've looked at the RR edition to undertail part but I don't know if that would collide with carbon pillion cover. I love these videos man !

Why?
Because the new Super Duke is just unbelievable! The only thing on it that's the same as the 1290 is the brake calipers. I've never ridden a Kawasaki H2 but I've been on everything else and the new Super Duke is the best naked bike ever built.
I’m happy to have owned and rode it for the past 2 years. Here’s the thing: the jump from Gen 3 to Gen 4 is a small one. It’s not a total re-design. 50cc bump in displacement, some minor revisions to electronics and suspension and variable valve timing (mostly for emissions compliance in EU), slightly larger tank and redesigned fairings and headlight. It’s similar to the jump from Gen 1 to Gen 2 which was similar for the era. This refresh is more evolution that revolution. To-date, the biggest change in SDR evolutions was between Gen 2 and Gen 3.

What's different?
Unfortunately the RR isn’t available in the USA. So we NA customers have to build our own version of it and in some cases we have better components on it than the RR.
