You look gorgeous! It's been over a year since we chatted. I lost my husband and you consoled me. I have never forgotten that. You have compassion, kindness and a big heart. I can't thank you enough. I buy a lot of what you promote. I love you❤
I hope your grief is waning a bit. My dad has been gone 3 years now & it's still painful. I can't imagine losing my husband. Loss is never easy. But we take one day at a time don't we? Sending you hugs my dear 🤗 ❤️
Recently I heard someone say, I wish I could remember which podcast I was listening to at the time so I could give credit and I’ll have to paraphrase, but essentially they said: There is no such thing as getting over grief, Grief never actually goes away it just changes shape. Those shapes will bring emotions of different levels and layers but with time just like the tides, those levels will become more like little waves that gently lap at the shore. But sometimes and often for no reason or sometimes events in life can mean occasionally it comes in a huge wave and that’s ok. It’s to be expected, don’t fight it or chide yourself with stupid notions of, I should be over this by now, just sit with it allow it to just be. Soon it will recede back to the gentle laps. I hope that you find this of help, it really helped me when I heard it. My grief, is from my younger brother being killed in an unsolved hit and run accident years ago. And it does still come in a waves sometimes especially around the anniversary it a tsunami and other times a bigger than usual wave and so I have fallen into the trap of feeling “what is wrong with me I should be over this by now, shouldn’t I?” I haven’t exactly figured out what sitting with it and letting it be looks like. Especially since sometimes the bigger waves can hit you out of the blue when you’re out in public. BUT I do feel so much better after hearing what she said. Essentially all of life is a learning curve and life will find a way to teach me (us) how to sit with it and let it just be. Written with love and the best and sincerest of intentions ❤f🇦🇺
Hi Melissa! Would you do a video on how you do your press on nails. The brands that you find are the best? How often do you do them? Do they pop off? The glue used and does water get underneath? Etc. I tried the press on nails during COVID because the salons were closed and didn't have good luck with them. Thanks 💜
Hey, Mrs. Melissa! You asked about eye shadow sticks….I have ordered and reordered Julep crayons in multiple shades and finishes from Amazon that fall into the drug store pricing. Love them and would recommend! My favorites are stone matte, smoky amethyst shimmer and hazelnut.
A fantastic video! 😊 I’ve lived with Thyroid eye disease for the past few years and haven’t worn any eye makeup at all. I hesitated to watch the video when I saw it was all-things-eyes, but I kept on watching. I’m so glad I did, it gave me a little excitement for eye makeup again. It’s been a very tough transition in accepting how I look now, but maybe this little nudge can be in a good direction for me going forward. Thanks again Mel 💕

You have the best personality MrsMelissa . This was so fun! Speaking of curling eyelashes, is there an eyelash curler that you'd recommend? My fave mascara is the L'Oréal Panorama. Im definitely interested in the L'Oréal eyeliners. Thank you!❤
Hi Melissa! Love your videos. Can you please do a best of drugstore BB creams, and explain what they do. I really need a good one that is affordable. I want to wear one for the holidays. I think it would also be a great video for everyone 😊
Your jokes at end always make me laugh 🤣. Mascara is my fave makeup item too! What is your fave cool neutral drugstore palette? What do you think of Stone Cold Fox? Trying to decide between it and Smoke And Roses.
The jokes always make me laugh too and as for the colour palettes I was going to say the same thing as Melissa. I couldn’t decide between them either, cool tones definitely suit me more but I am naturally drawn to the colours in Smoke and Roses. So I bought both when there was some sort of sale on and they are both beautiful but having only an elementary level of colour theory and knowing less about deciphering cool from neutral and sometimes even neutral from warm I’m finding S.C.F the easier to work with out of the two of them for now

Mrs M - I have great results with the ELF No Budge stick shadows. Thrift Store, Rose Gold, Magnetic Pull and Pearl are my favorites can be a wash of color or buildable and they do last all day. Even when I wear powder shadows on my lid, I like using them in my tear duct or under my lower lash line and smudge them out. I have not had an urge to try other brands as they work that well. Hi Melissa! You're looking so pretty! I cleaned out all my purses yesterday, and I can not believe just how much lipstick I have. My drawer is completely full. It's ridiculous! I did shop the Sephora sale but got things for my granddaughters for Christmas and refills of things I use all the time. Moira's highlighter is awesome! I got mine off of Amazon, and it's the one I turn to on the daily. Since I lightened my hair to be ultra blonde, I've been using light blue and light green eyeshadow and love it! The only drawback to this hair color is getting blush and/or bronzer in the edge of my hair. The great part is, you can't see my white hair growing in. I love that smoke and roses palette! The Colourpop and ELF shadow sticks. They are both very long wearing. I have pretty much all of the colors of both. And the Moira duo chrome eyeliners are fantastic, I have 3 colors! I am a mixer of makeup also! Foundation, mascara are my favorites to mix. Right now, my fav mascara is the Milani waterproof antigravity. Doesn't flake or smudge. I also the ELF tubing mascara! Thanks Melissa ❤️. Shop Miss A has some fabulous makeup and brushes. They're also online, but have no shipping fee if you purchase a certain amount. Definitely worth checking out🥰🇨🇦
Hi Tammy. I prefer primer because it doesn't crease on me. Have you ever tried DRMTLGY HPR Eye Cream? I love it & it helped my eyelids a lot. It's a bit pricey, but they have sales & it's worth it to me. One thing is I make sure I pat it all the way to the inner eye. amzn.to/48FmxKn

Thanks for this! But, I’m surprised you didn’t mention Alter Ego, because of their quality and great price.
Great point! They have awesome eyeshadow 😍
Thanks Melissa ❤️. Shop Miss A has some fabulous makeup and brushes. They're also online, but have no shipping fee if you purchase a certain amount. Definitely worth checking out🥰🇨🇦
Thanks for the tip Michelle! ❤️🩷❤️
I am the same way without mascara! I just look tired. So weird!
Yep! 🫤👀
Hi Mrs M.
Love, what you've done with your hair and makeup.x
Thanks so much Dee!
What do you suggest for elderly with wrinkled, sun spotted eyeshadow primer or concealer? Their pretty bad eyelids. Thanks

@@MrsMelissaM can you recommend one that's less costly please. I understand the quality, but I'm hoping you might know of another that won't be as much. Thanks
I do have one other i like.

I like ELF, no budge eyeshadow sticks. Thanks.
My pleasure.
Great video friend
Thanks so much Debbie.
Hair?
I love the Maybelline mascara, but I find it flakes TERRIBLY through the day. If they could fix that it would be a perfect mascara for me.
❤
KIKO Milano

Do what hot and flashy did. Do a video saying you may have to quit and why, make sure people are notified of your video and you'll get a ton of views from that and people will subscribe. Check it out, she hit it big with that one. I believe in you.
Comment for the algorithm😊
