- In today's video, our friends Matt Varah Wilson, David from Kindred Worship and Praise Lubangu share with us how they spend their devotional time / quiet time with the Lord. We believe in this fast paced age full of distractions, it's important to maintain a regular time to spend with God. And as creatives our day to day routines often look very different, and we may even struggle with that kind of structure. We decided to ask some of our artist friends to share about their experience, why they do it, and what habits helped them to get started.

Parked in my car somewhere secluded…after 1am…Blue Letter Bible app opened on my phone…reading aloud…praying the Lord’s Prayer to prime my heart…spilling out whatever’s on my heart in terms of burdens/gratitude/petitions..

That's really good everyone! 👍we need to constantly come to the secret place before God . I love the fact that our God loves variety and so He has also provided so many ways to spend time with Him - that can mean praying, singing, being still, meditating, reading, speaking in tongues etc.. and yet all this can also be done at different times in the day/night.

Hey Jonathan! I wanted to let you know what a blessing this channel has become to me already. I just discovered your channel this past week and the first video I watched was Why the Church Needs Artists... I can't recall anything in particular that led to this response but the Lord really touched my heart through that video, and I wept tears of joy for a little while.
