    Hi Eric, for property investor in 2025/2026 is it better to buy condo resale and rent out for 3 years to sell or to buy new launch for capital gain?

      Depends on budget. Resale is a good start since you can buy a size bigger than new launch for better profits 👍

    Question for your advice pls: HDB is under my name only. We are planning to buy a new launch condo under my wife's name in 2025.
    But we are not sure whether to sell our HDB in Punggol to purchase a resale condo (like Treasure Trove) for own stay. Any thoughts / suggestion?

      Why not get 1 resale for stay and 1 resale/new for investment?

      As for the 1 resale own stay, if we sell HDB to buy Treasure Trove (or any other gud projects nearby), not sure if the numbers would make sense:(

    Hello Eric, couple looking for getting a property for the first time. Cpf 210k cash 150k.
    Any recommendations please? Our intentions to be doing investment wise. Resale will be too tight on our budget, monthly instalment more than what our OA receives every month. thus, agent recommended new launch due to progressive payment.

      You should know why agents keep promoting new launch.
      Your budget of $360k can buy 3br resale. But it’s very limited and may price out very soon. Rental can cover the entire instalment. 🙌🏼

    Hi Eric, thanks for your videos and sharing and have a great prosperous Huat Kueh 2025! I have a question, have been thinking about if the resale CCR freehold around 2k+psf would be a good level to enter now, compared to OCR 99 lease new launch can be transacted even higher than that. Of course it depends on the project/year/location I understand. But generally do you think the narrowed price gap between CCR freehold/OCR new launch would be corrected soon? Thanks!

    Happy New Year! Love your contents! I have a HDB which MOP already. Thinking if I should get an EC while staying in the current HDB, but TOP + MOP = 8years. Or should i sell my HDB & get a 2.2m new private condo which TOP in 2-3 yrs but = need to rent a place for 2-3 yrs. Or should i get a resale private condo? We're a family of 3 (a 3yo kid). Thanks!

    Hi Eric! My fiancé and I just bought a hdb resale under the owner & essential occupier scheme. As I’m the essential occupier, that means I have to wait 5 years to fulfil the MOP before I can buy a private property. However, 5 years seems like a long time to wait and not do anything in the property market.. Is there anything else I can do or is waiting 5 years the only thing I can do?

      You don’t need to sell HDB but still Need to wait for 5 years before you can buy private.

    Eric, i bought a a dual key 2+1 in Punggol Riverparc.. i just got it for 1.75m and im scared its too old (10 years) Is this reasonable?

      Currently younger 3DK walkable to Punggol mrt is slightly less than 1.7mil. However your size is slightly bigger so its ok
