Kings fan here! We love Tyrese 💜 I think the trade worked well for both teams. Sabonis helped us reach the playoffs and Tyrese was able to grow into superstar-caliber for Indy. He's so fun to watch & I know a lot of Kings fans who have nothing but love for him.

Think about how badly Detroit messed this up: The best player in the drafted ACTUALLY WANTED TO GO TO DETROIT. The fact that anyone wanted to go to Detroit should be enough reason for the Pistons to draft him. The fact that he ended up being on a trajectory to be basically a taller and much lankier CP3 is just icing on the cake. I mean who the heck wants to go to Detroit?

Being a Pistons fans in hindsight it feels personal to us too! This is our history; passing on players that should have been on the team. Just to name a few: Carmelo Anthony, Donovan McNabb and of course you Tyrese. Look at it this way. Had you been on the Pistons and what happened last season still happened even with you on the team you avoided a catastrophe in your career.
