Yes, the level of skill it takes to move your hands with such finesse and yet conjure such tricks is amazing. We should watch magic shows like we do stunt performances, as they too perform stunts of illusion, to trick the mind into believing that the trick is impossible to conjure up.
He didn't hurt magic, I didn't really care about magic until I saw his show and saw how it was done, it made it more fun. I actually know how to do magic tricks! I can show my friends and family and they would be impressed. so when people say that he hurt magic, like miamimagicians, no man, he made me a fan.
It's a good thing this guy went and put on that mask to show us how they do all those illusions. Firstly to inspire us all to learn magic but more importantly to STOP MAGICIANS FROM REPEATEDLY PULLING OUT THE SAME STALE OLD TRICKS.

Bullshit, to invent a new trick requires a lot of time and thinking, trial and error. You see the kind of untalented magician is this guy: minute 2:02, you can see the dove in his hand, at 4:54 you can see the duck head in his right hand. He switched to trick revealing because he couldnt succeed as a real magician.
He talks about why he did it when he revealed his identity. Personally, I remember watching those specials as a kid and it made me even more interested in magic than before. It's the performance that makes it epic.

Knowing had the magic works doesn't hurt what is at the end of the day a performance. If anything you get a greater appreciation for it. Seeing a movie get made after watching it doesn't hurt the movie either, but again you get to see all the hard work that goes into it.

Valentino, you're a great magician, one of the best performers ever lived. I know you wanted to make magic interesting again, especially to the new generation, the kids. But revealing the old classics of magic and its secrets under the disguise of mask and an false name, ... No that was a mistake. You could have done something else, but revealing these age old secrets, no. It's unfortunate that you did it, but I still admire you for your great talent and performance.

1st time i saw he pulled out the duck i was like ‘how the hell he do that?’.But after i rewind few seconds i realized that he pulled something behind the desk and ignite the ribbon at the same time.Genius
First, remember it's for TV, so they show you want they want you to see. Second, if I remember correctly, this trick was performed at a place near some kind of a large door in the Great Wall.
