Friends mein ne 02 x TCL T3 pro ac liye hein and both are installed on upper floor rooms facing direct sunlight, aur dono TCL acs ko L1 par chala raha hoon. Pora 1 mahina ho gya hei. Temp 27 , Mode Gen L1, room size 14 x 16. Units consumed 29.55, time 290 hours. Second AC room size 14x16, Mode Gen L1 and Temp selected 27, units consumed 35.55, time 265 hrs. (Out side air temp is in between 36-40 C). Total units consumed 65.5. Total bill for 02 ac TCL T3 pro is 65 units x Rs 40/ unit (Including tax, fuel adjustment etc) = Rs 2278.5 . This calculation is based on the power consumption shown at the TCL app and unit price is as per charged by Pindi Bahria Town. I hope this will help people make better decisions.

Brother ager ap AC ko har har time L Mode per on kar ke chalate ho to ap ac ke sath ziyadati kar rahe ho. L Mode to tab on karte hen jab apke room ka tamp kuch nechy aa jaye. ager ap start me hi L mode on rakhte ho to ac ke Compares per load aata ha aur life kam hoti ha. ap reserch kar ke dekh lo.
Ap sahi suggest kr rhy hain, start main 30min normal chalana chahiy then Gen mode enable krain to AC ki life healthy reh skti hy

DC Inverter, 1.5 ton BTU 19200 cooling and BTU 20000 heat, what is the name of the AC I will mention that later, but one thing is for sure, 10 hours usage, first 10-minute Turbo mode at 19c, after 10 to 15 minutes temp selection 24c for maximum 40 minutes, after an hour temp selection 26c which is enough, once I select, Bam, Compress off for the rest of 4/5 minutes, it will start from 3amp's to reach 26c within 2 minutes and again off, continuously only if the temp drops otherwise, compress stays off and fans keep running, and the stable amp after 2 hours are 1.4 or even less when reached to selective temp. So the moral is, I ran and ran my AC 10 to 12 hours every night and it consumes only damn 5/6 units, no matter day or night. my room size, 14x22 top floor, sun heat from all sides, and no shadow, if you install it downstairs, trust me it shall beat only 3/4 units per 12 hours. No gen fooling function, no L1, no L2, no useless power consuming.

I struggled for 1.5 years to find such a product, I visited over 100 dealers and family and friends in Faisalabad to see such comparing in technology, power consumption, saving, amp, watts, airflow, throw, cooling capacity, etc, and finally, I bought this AC. you can visit me or contact me to get proof, I'm telling you this because your money is Halal so spend on something that is worth it, it is 4 years PCB, 1-year parts, 10 years compressor, including 3 to 6 free first services. I'm not promoting it, I'm making honest experience I have done it in 2 years, with no complaints, no leakage, and no issues with this product, you must check them before buying TCL, or else, go with 5-star ACs like Samsung, Hitachi, LG, Mitsubishi, General. or least buy 3 to 4-star ACs, with T3 technology, it is more energy efficient not only temp-controlling difference. and remember, working on T3 and T3 compress, they are 2 different compressors, do not get confused with working on Word, it is not t3 exactly. Have a nice day!

Why do we forget humidity? Especially for Karachi where humidity remains between 80-85%. Even at 26C with humidity 80% your room will feel like 30C approx.

Hello Moazzam, first of all thanks for sharing insightful videos. My question is, keep running on 'Gen mode' does this harm the AC?
Also, my ac runs on solar as well so it keeps getting restart when there are clouds so is it fine or should I take any precautions? Please respond thanks!
Question: when the room temp was 26, you enabled gen mode L1 and for hours it continued consuming 3amps and mentained 26. And then when you set the temp to 16. Again with consuming only 3amps, it droped the temp to 24.
Conclusion: It means during those few first hours, it was actually actually wasting the power compared to second situation.
Please correct me if my finding is wrong. Why not to drop the temp instead of keeping it at 26 when the same amount of power is consumed?

I like and use panasonic imported models
For 2 ton i have panasonic 24PKH model and that unit consumes max 8.8A unfortunately its Pcb board not working so now i purchased local panasonic 2 ton and its build quality is just satisfactory no compare to the imported panasonic but T3 compressor but it is consumeing 11.5A at turbo mode room is big size 500 sft and first floor so cooling is very good but 11.5A is a very high current
So also using sharp 1.5 ton inverter and it max consumes 7A and comes to as low as 2.5A in my eyes panasonic imported units are the best and very efficient

Ac running current if 3apm then
3amp*220 volts/1000 as 1000 represents 1 unit =1000 watts so you will know how much units consumed in one hour and then multiply it with 10 hours on average usage or depends on your usage

I have purchased this AC. But I m not happy with it due to its power consumption.
*Gen mode use na kre uska faida ni ha. Day time 28 temperature rakhe. Raat me b rakh skte 28 but can also low it to 26. After achieveing temperature yeh 2.2amp tak ajaega. No use of gen mode.
*It's lowest ampere does not go below 2.2-3 amp. Jab ke iske jgha aese bht se models ha Jo 1.3-1.8 amp tak ajate ha. For example midea can go up to 1.3 amp also pel jumbo DC prime. A lot of user videos available
*Iska filter bht Ganda hjata quickly ku ke ac ke top pr mjud ha. Isko 2 week me lazmi saaf kre for better cooling

Bro TCL claims it has T3 twin rotatory compressor, but how to verify that like where it is mentioned on outdoor unit or anywhere else that it has T3 climate type compressor? Cos I didn't see such info on outdoor unit of t3 pro.
Twin rotatory is different tech and T3 is different, before T3 came into Market, compressor performance was enhanced by using twin rotatory technology.
Now its T3.
And there is sure T3 compressors in TCL.

If u want to save a big purchase cost and can compromise on the WiFi feature then miracle T3 B is a good option. Others features are almost same except WiFi in Pro

Nutshell, it seems that overall current consumption is 1 unit per hour or 1KW hour . please add your concurrence if I am right?
As all ac run test performed in empty room or with single person occupancy which is ideal condition for AC performance
On average its consumption is 0.7 to 1.0 unit per hour..
But if you fix the Gen mode to L1 then its consumption also remain within range of 0.6 to 0.7 per hour due to current limit of 3A

If your solar setup and ups can provide 3A current then off course you can power on AC with this source safely.
I am sure 1000 watt solar setup can provide 3A along with 220V 👍

Yes when you will switch on from remote it will start with L1 because in remote keep last values saved, so when ever you press any key if remote, the AC will follow all remote settings

Mene kal rat is ac ko, 27 py start kia aur fan mode auto tha, 10 minute tak ye starting me 9 ampare py chalta raha usky bad ye 7.5 ampare agya aur continously 7.5 ampare py chalta rha, even 27 temp achieve krne ke bad bhi ye 7.5 se nechy nhi arha tha phir mene 45 minute bad eco mode on kia to 5.5 ampare py agya jabky isko lowest ampare py jana chaye tha halanke room temp achieve ho Chuka tha. Phir mene last me l1 mode on kia to phir 3 ampare py agya. Matlab ye ac desired temp achieve krne ke bad lowest ampare py nhi jata jo ke ek negative point hai. Jab KY inverter ac ka maqsad hi ye hai ke desired temprature achieve krne ke bad lowest ampare yani 1.5- 2.7 tak ajye. My room is not that big, 10x17, Totally diaappointed

Yes last year i observed this too few times but mostly raat ko yeh low ampere pr bhe khud aa jata tha without Gen mode

@MoazzamNiazi your videos are very informative. I am currently facing a problem I hope you can provide good suggestion. I have 2 TON TCL T3 Inverter. I use Inverter from 11pm-7am. Last year it consumed 5-6 units without gen mode and 4-5 units on gen mode. This year it is consuming 8 units. I do clean the inverter filter but no benefits. I call to TCL Customer and they said Gen mode might not be working due to summer heat but I found this argument baseless. First hour I put inverter on 24C and then move to 26C. Please guide me what to do.
In very hot summer Gen mode L1 mostly gives a warning 0A and AC doesn't work
Try to set temperature 27 or 28..if u feel comfortable cooling on these set temperature values .
I guess your feedback sensor is not reading the proper value of room temperature 🌡️.

Its not any system error, infact its a warning that compressor need more power than L1, u have to change the gen mode from L1 to L2 or L3 . AC will work fine... Its happens when outside temperature increases UpTo certain limit
sir mere pass tcl ac he 1.5 ton 5 star vala wifi option vala leki 6 time eco button press karne ke bad only beep ka voice ata he "CF" likha nahi ata display par to solution btaiye.
This error is very common, kai loog yahi complain krty hain. Actually i have never faced this condition, so no experience how to tackle this issue,

Yes its means outside temperature is high. You should use L2 or L3 in the extremely warn outside weather instead of L1 .
0A is warning which means your AC meeds more power and L1 is not providing it . So you should either use L3 or L3 mode . Or disabled GEN mode
