@@EmilyMcVicker Hi, Emily! Thank you for your reply! RC600? I should look it up. Nice to hear from you, stay well! see you on more of your videos. How about the song 'Puttin on the Ritz'? made popular by Taco in the mid-'80s.
Nice demo with the footswitch Emily. Am buying this one. Am in Perth WA now and they have the unit at Kosmic Sound. Your footswitch display convinced me, seriously. Thank you so much. Thank you as well BOSS ROLAND for having this unit. It's like a combined AC33 and the VE-8.
oh wow Dax! Thanks for watching and saying all those nice things! Keep in touch. i do some other looping demos on my own page and interview looper friends of mine as well. talk to you later!
@@EmilyMcVicker ... bought the ACS Pro as soon as i saw your demo 2 years ago. Thank you for your reply. You're so thoughtful. Awesome too. Will go to your page now.
u can connect a A and B switch just have to use proper cable, one a and b pedal use a cable that has one balance 1/4 one one side and other has two balance 1/4 and it will control the looper and harmony but if u use two A and B pedals it will control harmony and chours and the other will control looper and mute
aww hey Paisley! no effect. it was plugged directly into the amp. i ususally plug my guitar direct into the looper. been playing with more pedals lately, but not absolutely necessary :) Hope you are well my friend!!!
Great demo! I want to buy this amp, but can you explain how you can control LOOP + HARMONY with one pedal? All the things I've read show there's separate pedal controls for LOOP/CHORUS and for HARMONY/MUTE. How did you set up one pedal to control LOOP/HARMONY? Didn't think it was possible!
Hi there! I was confused about that at first too. You can do it on the one pedal, you just need two 1/4" cables. Each button on the pedal (A/B) has a separate input in the back, and you just correspond each pedal with whichever feature you want it to represent on the back of the amp.
Hi Emily! Nice demo! I play live acoustic electric duo shows and play mostly in small to medium sized bars and clubs would the singer live be loud enough to work or should i get the pro model? Also we do use a nice pa so I'm assuming if i run the singer through the pa it would be loud enough that way than using as a stand alone amp. Which would you recommend? Thank you!
I was a big fan of the small version. As we were filming, guys from the store kept coming in like, "is that all from that one amp?!" It was loud and full. and it has an output in the back to send the whole signal to the PA if you need and then you'd have all the volume you could dream of. When you say "electric duo" that made me imagine electric guitars. It might be worth bringing your guitars in and testing them out. Also, if you happen to use other guitar pedals with the ASL, I'm not sure if it would go as well. For example, I plugged my big loop pedal into it (BOSS RC300) and it was a little too much for the amp. The channels are built for that simple singer/acoustic guitar set up. I don't know for sure tho. You should try it and let me know how it goes!
Emily McVicker Thank you for quick reply! By electric duo I meant electric acoustic guitar sorry for my poor description.. The duo was meant that my friend also plays electric acoustic guitar and sings and I play lead, however while playing through his PA sometimes when I solo or do leads it isn't loud enough or there my guitar loses slight volume so I figured if I buy this amp and run thru PA like a di box it will be perfect. Again thank you so much!!!!
i've had this amp for years and unfortunately never used it. i even tried to give it to someone but it came back. ok. after watching this, i dug it back up and even found the required foot pedals. now i'm working on the new White Album revival ... see and hear it nowhere anywhere.
Great video and amp demonstration. You also have a terrific voice 🎤 🎶
I've watched this a few times. I love all the features of this 'Boss' Amp. Thanks for the demo, you sing and play great!
Thanks so much john! i do some other live looping demos on my own channel. hopeing to get my hands on the new RC 600 in a little bit!
