Fanning Wash Capstone Project
The purpose of this project is to design improvements to the current channel and culvert design in the fanning wash from Linda Vista to Route 66. The end goal of this project is to prevent the flooding that has been happening in the Siler Homes (E. Elder Drive).
Fanning Wash is currently a functioning wash, but it is not able to hold the capacity of the channel. The project is aimed at designing improvements to the existing channel and culvert design in the Fanning Wash from Linda Vista to Route 66. The project goal is to prevent the flooding that has been happening in the Siler Homes. Some repairs have been made to the channel since the summer of 2021, as well as some recent repairs done by contractors in the segment between Lockett and Linda Vista.
