Hello there. I'm not sure where you've heard eBay is not safe to shop from, but I can tell you that it isn't true. I've been buying from eBay for over 9 years, and most of my collection has come from there. So it's completely safe. I'd recommend a +Color or a n IDL for your first color model. The P's can be a bit overwhelming if it will be the first color tama you see. Thanks for watching and glad to hear you like my videos. :)

And you don't really have to know Japanese to play with them. ^^ I don't thing color tamagotchis' have been to Singapore, except the Tamagotchi IDL E which in 2010-2011 i thing Toys Are Us did sell them. Takashimaya also did use to sell Tamagotchi P's etc, not too sure if they still do.
I wish I knew Japanese, because this tama looks like it could be confusing as heck. Can't wait to get mine though. The features on this are unbelievable!
Do you think it's worth it for someone like me who doesn't have the right phone for the app or access to the touch cards to get a tamagotchi 4u? I'm hoping they will release an iPhone version of the app but I'm not holding my breath lol. I'm wondering if there won't be enough content without the app and cards.
It's a little too soon to tell, but so far it seems like this will be dependent on the downloadable contents a lot. Like there are over a dozen characters you can download, while there are only 10 built in characters...

You could try a Nexus 7 tablet. They cost under 500 dollars and have been confirmed to work.
