As a professional dancer for 13 years now and I have been dancing since i was 6 so I going on 18 years of dancing and I never knew what people see when they said that jin "can't" dance there is not really a (bad) dancer in kpop in all honesty ofc there a one batter then one but not really a (bad) dancer
rvpstudioscanada I wouldn’t say stiff I would say more awkward I guess he’s very flexible it’s just a fact that he doesn’t seem really comfortable on stage when he does the dances but when he does get comfortable like that one fancam from DNA era he seemed really comfortable and seemed like he was in his zone which made the fancam so enjoyable to see it but sometimes (mostly when they first debuted but it stopped i’d say around spring day era) back then not now anymore honestly he seemed really nervous on stage possibly because he’s really shy maybe does have to do something with that but I agree with rm being stiff as in not flexible like I am has amazing stage presence and he doesn’t really seem comfortable on stage but he is very non-flexible is that word? like the move with the leg in black swan everybody was able to do a full 90° but if you noticed it rm wasn’t able to do it that’s being stiff so yeah I wouldn’t really call jin stiff more awkward probably

I love Jin, so please don't get me wrong. Jin is just not the typical "talented" or "born" dancer, but the kind of dancer, who need to train harder to get the dance moves. He is more a choreo dancer, but not the type, who could make spontaneous cool dance moves like Hobi, Jimin, V or JK. We all know, that Jin takes more hours to learn choreos, so let's just appreciate his hard work and effort to make us ARMY happy!
I agree! Jin has to take time to learn the dance moves, and can't spontaneously do amazing tricks like Jimin and Hobi, but through all of his endless hard work he is now pulling off incredibly hard choreo and we are so proud!!
Everyone doesn’t get every talent as a born talent.Jin didn’t have any experience in dancing like other members.But he is the most hard working member there,he allocate lots of time to practice dancing and he slays.♥️ I don’t know why people even criticize him after him being a great dancer.
my favorite clip of jin dancing is during RM’s first verse in DNA. especially in the dance practice. you can really see how amazing he dances and everytime i watched the dance practice i couldn’t take my eyes off him

Jin has a great stage presence if we are talking about that. He captured the stadium with epiphan, awake and has 90k fans singing along with him. He puts so mauch passion and sass into what he does. Dancing and stage presence are not related at all--You can just stand at a place and have people shook. That is stage presence. JIN HAS THAT
I feel like people should realize that Jin had 0 experience with dance and look how he excels in all those hard choreographs. He practiced every day and worked hard. Even after he debuted, he kept working his way through the improving. See, I'm pretty sure all of us try the choreography or those people that do dance covers of their songs dance well. That's because some of us actually have dance experience. I mean, look at all those practices from 2013. Jin was amazing and kept up with the choreography. Sure, he seems rigid but his moves became super fluid over the years. He had 0 confidence because he had 0 experience with dancing as he was originally in BigHit as an actor. He, with 0 experience, was already an amazing dancer. And, to people who bash on him for his dance, remember one thing, even Jin is aware that he isn't some super god dancer like Jhope or Jimin. But that doesn't give you a reason to put him down. Some dancers only dance. They only dance. But Jin has to dance, sing, and move positions on stage. He has to also manage to dance in whatever costume he is given as well. He does 3x the stuff that normal dancers do. And for someone who started from a blank slate, he is darn amazing. So, before u go off on his dance moves, I'm not trying to glorify Jin a lot, remember that he does a lot more all at once than many of us dancers do. Like, they sand "ON" with live vocals. Jin has said that Fire was a turning point for him. He also admitted to getting extra dance lessons for On. RM praised him, saying that’s not easy to do 7 years into your career. He has put in the hard work. And I love to watch him dance. Has anyone ever noticed how much they move him from one side of the stage to another? That takes more than anyone of us could imagine. Jin is strong. Both physically and emotionally. He’s truly a beautiful person.

Jin had only a little bit of dance training when he was a trainee, he never danced before that and of course jin works hard to improve but in my opinion his skills have deteriorated in the past few years. In 2013 to 2014 his dancing was really good but he became less good in 2018 to 2020. This is only my opinion, im not trying to be hatefull towards jin. I respect him as a talented vocalist but he has huge lacking in dancing abilities
I’m a professional dancer and I’ve never understood why people say he’s such a bad dancer. Is he the best? No. But he’s not bad or horrible, and like the video says he can still dance better than 99% of people 😂 just because he isnt as good as Jimin or Jhope doesn’t make him bad. He never danced before BTS so of course he isn’t going to be as comfortable and confident as them. Honestly I think people just say he’s bad because he’s next to them, because I think if he was with anyone else they wouldn’t even say that. They just think he looks bad in comparison to them, but again that doesn’t make him actually bad. I’ve never thought he was the best dancer, but he doesn’t ever draw my eye in a bad way. It’s not like I watch a video of them and my eyes are drawn to Jin for being bad. He blends in perfectly fine, he doesn’t stand out as being bad at all. I think he could be an even greater dancer if he was more comfortable and confident. Most people who don’t dance well it’s because they feel awkward or uncomfortable, because they’re afraid they look silly or bad, so they’re more hesitant in their moves which comes across stiff. It’s like they’re in their head too much so they actually limit themselves, it’s not because they don’t have the physical ability. They’re afraid that they look silly so they hold back on the moves. And I’m sure having people say he’s a bad dancer just makes him more afraid and lowers his confidence even more. He’s perfect just the way he is 💞as a dancer myself I’m very impressed with him, it’s not easy at all to go from never dancing before to doing all of the intense, crazy, exhausting choreography that BTS does. People need to give him more credit. It’s easy for anyone sitting on their couch to critique other peoples dancing but they don’t realize how hard it actually is, how much endurance and athleticism it actually takes to be able to do the choreography that BTS does in every song, for hours long concerts. It’s very impressive for all of them, especially the ones like Jin who never even danced before
Agree. He needs more confidence on stage. It’s sad that you can see his insecurity most of the times. If he does his performance with more confidence even his dance skills aren’t „perfect“ as jimins (how could they?!) it would do a lot.
@@juna111 absolutely. You can see that he’s almost always looking at JK or Jhope when dancing to make sure he’s following along, and he always looks nervous and focused. It’s such a cliche but confidence really can make so much of a difference. Look at Tae for example, he’s not the ~best~ technical dancers, but he’s amazing at dancing and performing because he sells it with his confidence. Jin can 100% do the same if he just works on his confidence as well! 😌 regardless I think he’s doing just fine and I wish people would stop saying he’s a “bad” dancer just because he isn’t as good as Jimin or Jhope or JK. That’s like saying you suck at basketball just because you’re not AS good as Michael Jordan 😂
@HP Yes. He’s always looking at the others and you can see him thinking and struggling. Jin isn’t a „bad“ dancer. Especially when you look at these choreos. All he needs is his confidence as an actor and entertainer on stage. If he shows only a half of this confidence on stage nobody would think about his dancing skills anymore. And like you said before Tae is doing this every time. But when you look back Jin had improved considerably over the last few years. It’s great to see.
His dancings are good! And his voice never fails to amaze me! If you focus on him in dionysus his moves are just killing! And whats more is his voice! He literally did the high note in the end of dionysus he's also a humble and happy person! Thats the reason why he became my bias!!
Thank you. Graceful and elegant -- yes, those are the words that come to my mind as well when Jin dances. He has hit some absolutely beautiful lines in his dancing and also when he goofs off -- yes, equal to the quality of Jimin and J-Hope (one of the best dancers I have ever seen). Jin hyung body is defferent from others . he has a handsome body with wide shoulder like anime character so it's difficult for him to do dance moves but he worked hard and now he is a perfect dancer.

During their first comeback jin improved a lot but all the hate comments pulled him down and that's when all the members helped him which helped him a lot and it also boosted his confidence and well it was seen in his performance . And now no matter what anyone says JIN is the best dancer.

As a dance teacher (and not a Jin bias) I have to say considering the level of difficulty/ complexity of BTS' choreograhy- Jin is a truly great dancer. He may have been a little awkward and stiff at the start but he has improved immensely. When I started to get into BTS, I couldn't even pick out the 'bad' dancers because they were all on point (especially in the mvs). Haters gonna hate bc they jealous.

Through sheer hardwork , with lots of practice and guidance from his helpful dance instructors, music producers, song writers , BigHit staff and his boss ,Jin achieves what he is today. Jin has said that Fire was a turning point for him. He also admitted to getting extra dance lessons for On. RM praised him, saying that’s not easy to do 7 years into your career. He has put in the hard work. And I love to watch him dance. Has anyone ever noticed how much they move him from one side of the stage to another? That takes more than anyone of us could imagine. Jin is strong. Both physically and emotionally. He’s truly a beautiful person.

Anyone who has been training in dance for more than 7 years is better than jin because remember jin does not have any proffesional training in Dance, he is only trained to memerize choreography and lets not forget that a small portion of the army fanbase are proffesional dancer who have decades of experience, so the op comment was right, he is only better than 75% percent of the army fanbase.

If he never did, he still would have danced stiffly, and would be unable to make his body flow with the music. ever since blood sweat and tears, especially DNA era, Jin has improved so much and you can just keep quiet if you don't think so. Jinnie only deserves positivity, after all the hate he's got back then for his dancing. He literally worked so hard, day and night, just to show us his improvements and to prove those haters wrong. In my opinion, Jin is better than 95% of ARMY.

Jin had only a little bit of dance training when he was a trainee, he never danced before that and of course jin works hard to improve but in my opinion his skills have deteriorated in the past few years. In 2013 to 2014 his dancing was really good but he became less good in 2018 to 2020. This is only my opinion, im not trying to be hatefull towards jin. I respect him as a talented vocalist but he has huge lacking in dancing abilities

I’m a professional dancer and I’ve never understood why people say he’s such a bad dancer. Is he the best? No. But he’s not bad or horrible, and like the video says he can still dance better than 99% of people 😂 just because he isnt as good as Jimin or Jhope doesn’t make him bad. He never danced before BTS so of course he isn’t going to be as comfortable and confident as them. Honestly I think people just say he’s bad because he’s next to them, because I think if he was with anyone else they wouldn’t even say that. They just think he looks bad in comparison to them, but again that doesn’t make him actually bad. I’ve never thought he was the best dancer, but he doesn’t ever draw my eye in a bad way. It’s not like I watch a video of them and my eyes are drawn to Jin for being bad. He blends in perfectly fine, he doesn’t stand out as being bad at all. I think he could be an even greater dancer if he was more comfortable and confident. Most people who don’t dance well it’s because they feel awkward or uncomfortable, because they’re afraid they look silly or bad, so they’re more hesitant in their moves which comes across stiff. It’s like they’re in their head too much so they actually limit themselves, it’s not because they don’t have the physical ability. They’re afraid that they look silly so they hold back on the moves. And I’m sure having people say he’s a bad dancer just makes him more afraid and lowers his confidence even more. He’s perfect just the way he is 💞as a dancer myself I’m very impressed with him, it’s not easy at all to go from never dancing before to doing all of the intense, crazy, exhausting choreography that BTS does. People need to give him more credit. It’s easy for anyone sitting on their couch to critique other peoples dancing but they don’t realize how hard it actually is, how much endurance and athleticism it actually takes to be able to do the choreography that BTS does in every song, for hours long concerts. It’s very impressive for all of them, especially the ones like Jin who never even danced before
Agree. He needs more confidence on stage. It’s sad that you can see his insecurity most of the times. If he does his performance with more confidence even his dance skills aren’t „perfect“ as jimins (how could they?!) it would do a lot.
@@juna111 absolutely. You can see that he’s almost always looking at JK or Jhope when dancing to make sure he’s following along, and he always looks nervous and focused. It’s such a cliche but confidence really can make so much of a difference. Look at Tae for example, he’s not the ~best~ technical dancers, but he’s amazing at dancing and performing because he sells it with his confidence. Jin can 100% do the same if he just works on his confidence as well! 😌 regardless I think he’s doing just fine and I wish people would stop saying he’s a “bad” dancer just because he isn’t as good as Jimin or Jhope or JK. That’s like saying you suck at basketball just because you’re not AS good as Michael Jordan 😂
@HP Yes. He’s always looking at the others and you can see him thinking and struggling. Jin isn’t a „bad“ dancer. Especially when you look at these choreos. All he needs is his confidence as an actor and entertainer on stage. If he shows only a half of this confidence on stage nobody would think about his dancing skills anymore. And like you said before Tae is doing this every time. But when you look back Jin had improved considerably over the last few years. It’s great to see.

His dancings are good! And his voice never fails to amaze me! If you focus on him in dionysus his moves are just killing! And whats more is his voice! He literally did the high note in the end of dionysus he's also a humble and happy person! Thats the reason why he became my bias!!
Thank you. Graceful and elegant -- yes, those are the words that come to my mind as well when Jin dances. He has hit some absolutely beautiful lines in his dancing and also when he goofs off -- yes, equal to the quality of Jimin and J-Hope (one of the best dancers I have ever seen). His dancing is becoming a force to be dealt with.

Jin hyung body is defferent from others . he has a handsome body with wide shoulder like anime character so it's difficult for him to do dance moves but he worked hard and now he is a perfect dancer.

During their first comeback jin improved a lot but all the hate comments pulled him down and that's when all the members helped him which helped him a lot and it also boosted his confidence and well it was seen in his performance . And now no matter what anyone says JIN is the best dancer.
If I could dance half as well as Jin, I'd be very pleased with myself. Jin is literally the best example to prove that dance can be learnt. I can't imagine how much effort he must have put to become that good!! It's so damn impressive!!

As a dance teacher (and not a Jin bias) I have to say considering the level of difficulty/ complexity of BTS' choreograhy- Jin is a truly great dancer. He may have been a little awkward and stiff at the start but he has improved immensely. When I started to get into BTS, I couldn't even pick out the 'bad' dancers because they were all on point (especially in the mvs). Haters gonna hate bc they jealous.
