@@nickdugard9848 out of the big four florida osdm bands, Deicide's Glen Benton is arguibly the worst. Not great, but the other three, Chuck Schuldiner, David Vincent(MA's most iconic vocalist, here i won't care about the others) and John Tardy are better. Damn, in that period in the Florida Death Metal scene, even fucking Atheist had a better vocalist in Kelly Shaefer, which is a very very mediocre vocalist, but he is still better than Benton. Non of these vocalists is great imo, but compared to Benton they are better. But as the top reply says and I agree, the best vocalist RN is probably Dickie Allen, in terms of extreme metal, but Will Ramos is probably a little better. Anyway, deathcore gave some extremely talented vocalists(tho i don't really find it that enjoyable, besides 2-3 bands, i find it really boring, i much prefer OSDM).
I'd say Vanitas was that legendary masterpiece that has spread the word, That's how I found them and have since been to see them. They're actually better live than on the cd, when it's right in front of you it's fucking insane!!
seeing these guys live is so intense! never ever had such a good time on a concert, never was so exhausted and happy at the same time! those guys are life!
Personally I think the peaked at "in the constellation of the black widow" and everything after that has been middling except for a couple songs here and there that are good live but on the albums sound a bit too tame. But tastes differ. :D
I first got into this band when I was 13 (last year) and I must admit they're one of my absolute favourite bands. I own Vanitas (my favourite Anaal Nathrakh album), because all of the other CD's are extremely difficult to obtain at record stores. Unfortunately, I've never had the pleasure of seeing these awesome guys live :(
Joey Daniels I saw them live on summer. There's a special energy in their concert, this one was one of the best concert of the fest. People in the mosh pit were more active, I don't know. I hope you get the chance to see them live
Was just relistening to this today and just discovered my old comment - I'm 22 now. Update: I got to see Nathrakh live in 2018 and they were amazing. This still goes extremely hard.
William Munson I saw them this summer, they're fucking amazing, I got into the pit and wow, this band has a special energy live. 100% recommend to see them live

Found a cd called '15 pieces of hate' which had a few hard rock songs and a few metal core song. And the last song on the album was violenti non fit iniuria, which fucking blew my mind and now ive listened to all their albums. This is not normal from a 15 year old
that's normal. i've been listening to slayer and napalm death since i was 13. i was considered as schizoid. the psychiatrist told me to listen to classical music. but i'd rather listen to metal. and i met a lot of kids at my age that listening to this kind of music. besides the fact that i was schizoid, that's normal. this is music, music is art. you may listen to whatever you like. this is a matter of taste.

A lot of bands will use multiple vocals for that extra layering effect for mixing. For live performances a lot of bands will use two or three people for certain vocalizations.
Tell them many people do the same thing. I used to listen to black and death metal all the time for falling asleep. I mean.. it's just music like any other.
The chorus to this is so brilliant.
It's just fucking brilliant.
There is literally no other word I can use for it.
And it's just as good live as in the studio. Pure brilliance
the singer is incredible.

Because they play it in a higher key.

I feel bad that I found this band a week ago. I should've discovered this earlier.
It’s because you are a loser
wtf... not showing the drummer playing to song like this.... srsly, this guy did most of the work, and I didn't even see his face.
Too many smoke bombs. I assume that smoke was riot police anyway. Possibly a tank...
The dual cleans on this just make it sound that much more chaotic. This band is just brilliant!

Why is that one guy doing so much of Dave's part? It's still brilliant.
the albums have a ton of vocal layering and overlapping, so it gives Dave a chance to rest without interrupting the flow.
A lot of bands will use multiple vocals for that extra layering effect for mixing. For live performances a lot of bands will use two or three people for certain vocalizations.
Especially in this genre.
