Today I am FINALLY taking my tree down, putting all Christmas decor away & organizing my garage where I put it! Huge task but I'm so ready to simplify this year! No more buying needless things, being content with what I have & being closer to God. Some of my goals this year! :)
Please tell me I’m not the only one still needing to put away Christmas decor! It’s on my to do list for this week 😅
Also on my to do list is film a few videos, finish decorating my office and meal prep! Ready to jump into 2020 on the right foot! ❤️

I didn't put mine up until late, so I haven't taken it down yet either. I planned on doing it today, but I'm just not sure I'm ready. lol I'm still enjoying it.
Lol you are not alone! It’s on my to do list this week as well! Taking care of my 2 babies and a sick husband, just haven’t had the time. Fingers crossed I can get the decor put away and a deep cleaning done this week! 🤞🏻

I only took down my tree and the kids trees. But my mantle is still up and I’ve really got to get a new tote for it all. I am really wanting to get her up all my holiday clothes and put those away with my decor this year.

On my to-do list this week : meal planning and groceries shooping (done), getting my laundry done (soooo far from that), finishing my goals and plannings on my bullet journal (close !), and three work related objectives.
I hope I will manage to do all that, I'm of to a good start !

I agree her dad would be proud! I love how she always talks about her dad. That is something that we don't do in my family - everyone is very hush hush... and watching her talk about him and keep his spirit alive for her kids is beautiful !

Tip: If you want to save on paper or the hassle of rewriting the grocery list from the memo board, just take a snap on your phone. That's what we do.

Thank you for the inspiration! After watching your video I decluttered my spice and junk drawer, and reorganized my kitchen towel drawer. Got rid of enough stuff to free open a cabinet that is tall enough for my cookie sheets to stand up in. After work today I will continue in the kitchen! Love your videos!

I love putting my spices in a drawer laying down so I can see all of the labels. Its easier than digging through a full cupboard of bottles and jars. Anything that doesn't fit in my drawer goes on lazy Susans in the cabinet!

Just one bite, make big tasks into smaller ones, tick the smaller jobs off and tell yourself how even a small achievement is a step towards the bigger job at hand, I have a post it in my kitchen that says ‘today was a good day, you got this’ I read this when it’s all been too much ❤️
You got this. I break my chores down to one room a week, with Friday being a day to do quick tidy ups, clean mirrors and windows in each room. Monday is bedroom day, Tuesday-bathrooms, Wednesday- Kitchen, Thursday - Livingroom and study. Saturday is for outside/garage or car clean ups and going out for lunch and Sunday is a day of rest. I found it much easier to be motivated for one room than thinking about the whole house. It also means each room would get a deeper clean than if I was trying to get around the whole house, and I don't want to spend an entire day cleaning.

I didn’t realize you were a teacher! Out of all the people I watch on UA-cam, you are the one I most relate to and now I know why! I’m was a teacher before becoming a stay at home mom too! I just love your videos and the way you turn your house into a “classroom”. From the ways you organize and plan to the activities you do with your kids, I love it all!
Big tip i found works to save cords from being tangled and broken is when you are done wrap them around your hand loose so it doesnt strain it and then use bread ties to secure it in the loop

Bri! Use your essential oils instead of that goo gone!! Just saturate the area with your essential oil and it will wipe right off. Works on store labels for gifts you want to remove the tag on or when you buy new glass products with labels. Had to pass the tip along 😁 love your videos I've been watching for probably over a year now.

Funny how when holidays end we need to redo clean kitchen and pantry....I just did this lol...my 20 yr old son was teasing me about how I labeled all my containers....but he actually saw the final product of what I did and was proud and impressed by what I did. Lol

I used to keep my sugar, flour, baking soda, etc in my spice cupboard and over time, the baking items had a "spice cabinet flavor". I would put the cookie cutters and baking utensils like cookie cutter and equipment in the spice cabinet and move your sugar, flour, and other dry ingredients in it's own cabinet.

I lost my mum to cancer 22 years ago yesterday and on my daughters first birthday we found out that my dad has 3 tumours in his stomach. I’m struggling to find my strength, to be a present mum whilst my world is crumblibg around me. I’m so afraid to loose my dad aswell. To not have much family left. So i’m trying to get organised and clean to at least feel like i have control over some areas of my life. And i spend a lot of time just hugging my babies. Thank you for the cleaning inspirations.
