This is an old video but my theory is that this total war created an inter dimensional rift that gave characters the chance to crossover and fight Sans was the first character that learned about the rift and was intrigued which is why he fights so many people.

Although sonic 06 is really glitchy it helped the sonic team survive.
Yet none of it happened.
There are problems with this scenario (I will make this short and important):
Team Mario:
Bowser Army: He should have at least ghosts for his army
Bowser Magic for Army: Bowser can use his magic to changed his army into clone of himself with the same powers seen in many games
Bowser Magic: He is capable of transmutation of living beings into objects or items, summoning characters, and teleportation.
Peach: Should have her emotion powers since she can drink Endless Vibe
All except for Nabbit and Rosalina: should be able to break the law of physics due to Mario Soccer
Mario, DK, Luigi, Peach, Wario, and Bowser universal power: they are star children and said to have extraordinary powers and Bowsers wanted them to take over the universe.
Peach Beam: Capable of neutralizing powers up which Peach and Mario should be able to do this thanks to summoning the star spirits
Time Machine: Both Mario and Bowser have access to time Machines
Yoshi Army: Mario knows how to make Yoshi cookie where he should be able summoned many of them even in different dimensions (seen in Mario RPG)
Control of the universe: Rosalina never shown or depicted that she can reset the universe but the Luma are capable of recreation which is seen and plausible theory of how universe is recreated are the star children
Luma: they can create anything so they can become weapon
Peach Army: she knows that most toads are cowards which makes it least likely to bring them. Instead she should use her sheep army which she can used her sheep to transform the enemies into sheep (seen in Mario RPG which is optional when using them)
Music Box: Capable of putting enemies to sleep
Star bits: Both Mario and Luigi can use it temporary stun enemies which is very useful
star bits don't stun enemies they just hit enemies they don't stun them
+jazz jackson ghost would only die via Super sonic/Rosalina's universe reset, so good on you! (also, he never used the luma army, or the koopa army for a matter of fact, they could survive the bomb)
+Mac GamingHD they stun them
Then we need eggmans bots Gamma hyper sonic Solaris the chaos emeralds should be used for time travel and they should get perfect chaos for Sonics team emerl and the e-series robots just to make this fair

This is definitely one of the BEST Cartoon Fight Club Episodes! Also, YESSSS!!! YESSSS!!!! The rematch is happening! This series has inspired me to do my own fight series called Short Battles, where fictional characters fight to the death in a short amount of time! Thank you, animationrewind for this fight and the upcoming rematch.

And Mario could use the pure hearts which are way more powerful than the chaos emeralds. And Mario can use the stopwatch against chaos control. So Mario has the more powerful army and Mario and his team would easily beat sonic and his team.

(Note that some details of this comment use my outdated perception.) I don't agree with all the precise details, but this is pretty accurate aside from giving Nabbit the no-limits fallacy. Though it would've been more fair if Mario's team had the Pure Hearts and Zeekeeper were included, since you kind of gave Sonic's team an unfair advantage by excluding those from Mario's team, but I don't think the result would change given the conditions set.

Now wait a minute, Silver doesn't actually have the ability to go back in time on his own. Going back to the past the first time required Mephiles to open a portal for him and ever time after that required two hedgehogs using Chaos Control at the same time. Silver doesn't have the ability to reset time either--he never did. While the events of Sonic '06 _were_ reset at the end of the game, first off: the time reset only applied to Iblis and secondly: Silver had no part in that reset, Sonjc was the one who did that by destroying an unrelated object.

Problems with this fight: Bowser would’ve survived the crash, bowser army would still be alive cause if that was nuke then the rest of the fighters would’ve died too soo, yoshi would’ve protect the babies and kill silver, shadow wouldn’t kill the entire road army with a gun cause that gun would’ve been out of ammo, also if silver kill the babies in the past that mean he wouldn’t exists cause then the fight never happened at the mushroom kingdom cause it’s ruler it’s dead, also the Mario team survive way worst and beaten worst than sonic team so they would’ve died, sonic doesn’t have the sword cause that sword game is just a book nothing else, and Rosalina Lumas are powerful and will sacrifice their lives to protect her and there are endless of them, and why would they fight! Also silver can’t travel through time much unless he have a chaos emerald but shadow used it make the emeralds scatter far away so silver couldn’t time travel sorry sonic fans Mario team won.

Fact: Dr Robotniks Death Egg is a obvious parody of the Imperial Death Star. But the Death Star is better armed and much bigger and armed with thousands of turbolasers and hundreds of TIE fighters for protection, also the Death Star has a superlaser that can be used on enemy capital ships and entire Planets
