What about for EFI, SDI there dynoport how can we mess with throttle bodies or get more air into the engine id like to make my 2006 ski-doo 144 600 sdi get more AIR into the throttle bodies
Two-stroke airbox resonance tuning is fascinating. Got any thoughts on the crossfire 700? It uses a strange air intake that goes from the front of the engine to the front of the hood, then up the hood to the lights.
The same goes for a 4.6 DOHC Mustang Cobra, if you are sensitive to change in power, you will notice a huge drop in low end power when going from the stock air intake, to an airbox delete.
Huh, hadn't noticed your response. I guess I can consider moving to a custom air intake design if I decide to clutch the sled even more aggressively (its sitting at 4950 engagement now, very hard-packed wind-blown snow where I live makes trenching not an issue, so ideal clutching seem to be close to the race 600s).
yes worked at Suzuki shop and Sudco carbs, Pipe and cams coulld never out run the stock gs 750 that sat on the showroom and we would put a dealer plate on and run the mod. lol the stocker had much better rollon also do to cv carbs and airbox
Yup alot of thinking goes into an airbox for sure. Thanks for sharing Rich.
