I have met Shaq at a restaurant I was working at. We were closed but he knocked on the door and asked nicely if we could make him a salad. We did and he gave all the 12 staff memebers $100 each, classy dude. Nuff said

That's awesome. Here where we live there's an organization called VISTE, Volunteers In Service To the Elderly. It's basically a food pantry for those seniors who can get there and pick up groceries, but for those who are unable, volunteers like my wife and I go there, load up a bunch of groceries, and deliver them to seniors who are assigned to us. We've been doing that for about three years now, same seniors, and it's a real joy to see them every month. We sadly just lost one this past month, Miss Paris who was 96 years old, but I'm sure we'll pick up another deserving senior and we'll get to know them and love them too. Please help the seniors in your community any way you can. Mow their lawn, do their shopping, run some errands, or just stop by for a chat. You'll be surprised how good it makes you feel.
