@PowerHourNFL my all time favorite NFL player is Darrel Green. There have been to many good chiefs players to pick just one. Daberg, Trent Green, Jamaal Charles, Priest Holmes, Tony Gonzales, Deric Thomas, James Hasty, Dale Carter, Deric Johnson, Mahomes, Kelce. There are way toamy I have seen play.
Amen. I grew to love the Chiefs and football sitting in the hospital while my dad recovered from a terrible accident in the 80s. It became something we shared until he died in 2003. He remembered the first Super Bowl and I’m glad he had that. I had Steve DeBerg and his broken finger, Joe Montanas comeback against the Broncos on Monday night while I was on business travel (I stood up so fast I accidentally flipped a table in Iowa). I had great kickers who we loved . . . Until we didn’t. (Sigh) Deron Cherry was my first favorite player. Love always Derrick Thomas. Unforgettable are Christian Okoye, Tony Gonzalez, Tim Grunhard.
A lot of people doing their comments might say, they’ve been a Chiefs fan since the 80’s…how about a guy here who has watched them from when Lamar Hunt asked the NFL for a franchise in Texas and got turned down..and got together with some other guys that had money…Wilson up in Buffalo..Oakland..San Diego, New York, Miami…Denver..Cincinattii…Boston…and Houston..actually Houston might have come aboard later…and before the 3rd Championship game ..Lamar Hunt’s wife made a suggestion as a joke to Pete Rozelle, commissioner of football..that since the children in America had been playing all summer with the new craze toy called SUPER BALL…that maybe they should call the championship game….The Super Bowl….they called her the First Lady of the NFL…Hunt’s wife..so, I have been a huge fan since 1960…and I’m 78…a lot of football I couldn’t watch because I was overseas in the Army from 1968 through 1976…and later Aug 1980 to Aug 1981 in Korea…now they have satellite hook-up to watch…back then, it was radio and newspapers…Vietnam, Thailand, Germany, Belgium, Korea….ten years away from real football…but always a fan…
Thank you for your service. My late husband was an Army and Navy Vet. He served in Desert Storm. We were Chiefs fans our entire lives. I am older so I can remember the Superbowl IV win. My husband was born right after that game, and passed away in December of 2017. I think if he'd been able to get through the darkness of his depression that winter the joy of the Mahomes Era of Chiefs wins might have been enough to get him through.
@ sorry for your loss..I lost one sister when she was 59…and one died back in Kansas in August…I made it back two days before she passed…she was 74..and now the last sister went in for an ulcer..and they had to do quite a bit…so stay well, I always tell people be happy…I got out after 21 as an E-7…sergeant first class..I did a lot of John Wayne stuff the last 10 years…Happy trails….
I attended my first Chief's game in '63 at Municipal Stadium. I grew up on Raytown Road 4 miles from Arrowhead. Like many, I've experienced the highs and lows of The Chief's. I'm enjoying their success in my autumn years in spite of all the haters and fixed games, cheating referee accusations. This year I'm hoping for a KC/Green Bay Super Bowl. I want revenge for that 35-10 loss from SB1.
Mahomes' Madden Intelligence should be 100. Not sure if it is because I quit playing Madden like 10 years ago. I just remember Intelligence being the most important thing for player rating. lol
Not a lock, but I feel a whole lot better after the last two games. This is the offense we should have gotten all year but the injuries at WR derailed their whole offensive game plan from day one of preseason. I have to admit that Thuney has been better than I thought he would be at LT. Especially over multiple games. It wouldn’t surprise me if Thuney finished the year at LT. Even if Humphries gets healthy. Fun stuff Carter. Thanks for doing it.
Listen up Newbies. No NFL team is ever a "lock" for anything -- Division title, Conference title, or Super Bowl. It just never, ever is. And never can or will be. That doesn't happen in the NFL. Because as soon as you are sure that it is, and you bet the farm on it, you will lose everything.
I’m with you about TV NFL color guys talking trivia while plays are running. That’s why I have DVR playing the game delayed to sync with Mitch Holthus on Chiefs Radio actually calling every play. Network TV mgmt is lazy or just dumb?
Back in the Roone Arledge days (yeah, I’m old, but not done) sports had big well-disciplined teams doing televised games, and I think the camera direction and lead-talkers’ talking was a lot snappier. Digital tech has also made replays seamless. So no excuse to blab on during a play!
I got to say that since the Chiefs are getting back some of these weapons you got to think these teams are seeing formations that they've never seen before so that's probably why the DBS are back. Chiefs 3-peat I don't want to say it's a lock but I wouldn't bet against them
Pacheco does not have the vision and instincts to be a true RB1. You can see on your first breakdown. Nothing but grass to the right after he bursts through the wide open hole.
I get so sick and tired of hearing Taylor Swift this and Taylor Swift that the chiefs don't need her to be great and all the attention on her is absolutely ridiculous.
Bro chill out she's a fan too. I never understand the "omg Taylor is on screen;" like it's just a shot of the private boxes, would you rather see that little weasel Clark Hunt clapping like an NPC?
This had nothing to do with Taylor Swift. Over the course of 16:17 mins of a very positive highlight of the game, he did a 1-2 second shout out to his wife at the end and added "Go TayTay". You must not be a Chiefs fan or don't understand their team culture- build people up, shared success, celebrate greatness on and off the field.

The dunk over the crossbar was in honor of Tony Gonzalez, whose record he surpassed on that play, with Tony's promise to pay his fine.
I am life long chiefs fan and lived through part of the 80s, the 90s, the 00, and the 10s. I will never count them as a lock until the clock hits 00.
They are tough to beat. Who is your favorite player?

That was a Tony Gonzalez dunk. He broke his franchise TD record. He dunked it for Tony G and Tony even offered to pay the fine if he broke the record.
So cool. Love the homage
14:02 Tony Gonzalez told Travis he would pay the fine.
I always enjoy your play breakdowns. You have not only energy in your breakdowns, but also knowledge. Thank you for helping me understand more😊
Appreciate you, Larry! Please share it!
That was a really good block by Travis in protecting Maholmes and great catch by Watson
"JIMMY GRAHAM DUNK" broke my heart
Lol boy too young to know better
Thanks Buffalo for X and #15…your the best🎉

Lmmfao the title alone made this a must watch😂😂😂😂
Gotta shake the haters off
@PowerHourNFL kinda disappointed you didn't give your take on our rookie getting his first start. Lol

Defense would be good, but as a separate vid.
Certainly feels inevitable at this point.
Yes to defense tape!
Lamar Jackso is going to the 2 many int vs chiefs if that day comes
??? Jimmy Graham dunk ??? WTF?! 😂🤣😂GONZALEZ DUNK!!! I know you know that, brain farts happen bruh. GO CHIEFS!!! 🏈
Don't do the defense, we can't give everything away! We show too much on offense. Lol😂
lol I’d be flattered if an NFL coach ever picked up anything from watching my videos… MAYE ANDY WATCHES ME?!
That's a Tony Gonzalez dunk the originator

21-1 since this time last year..... uh huh dats rite//

Defense please! Spags seems to run some unique coverage disguises and McDuffie is playing like the 2nd best CB in the league (Pat Surtain, of course)
One of my teammates names was Jordan Smith. What’s your golf handicap?
Bruh did u really say wrong then grahm? It Tony G my boy. Gonzo himself
do spags

Yoy don't know enough that ut us Tony Gonzalez 🤦
No that’s Travis Kelce
3peat
Get the third ring then retire.
