How to sum values based on month and year in Excel

1. SUMIFS function adds values that meet single or multiple criteria. Ability to use criteria with logical operators like - grater den equal and less den equal provides the way of adding values between values like sum month.
How to Apply Formula
=SUMIFS(sum data range,date range,"grater den equal" & first day of month,date range,"less den equal"&EOMONTH(first day of month)
2. Displaying a month like 01/01/2020 is not ideal. Thanks to formatting options of Excel, we can display a date by its full month name. Adding custom format "mmmm" to a date displays it by its long month name without changing its original value. To apply a custom format: "mmmm"
