Clearly Naomi Osaka is a sensitive and intelligent woman who has an engaging personality, but who also sends out messages from time to time which have been studiously ignored like "I'm not good at talking." Surely the contribution Naomi can make to tennis is more valuable than having interviews with the media with no apparent boundaries. Hopefully a mutual understanding between players and the media can be established regarding the scope of her interviews because I am sure most tennis fans would rather see her play in tournaments. In the context of tennis tournaments, one has to ask whether or not the media is bigger than the tennis. Surely not?
