Thanks for making this video. Funny, I have the same complaints about the f-one foil covers (no covers on the masts, and the foam rips on the stabs!). Appreciate you sharing your experience.

Thank you for the review. Been wanting to learn more about this particular foil. Do you have any comments with using the SS1000 with the FONE Aluminum mast?

Hi thanks for your comment. To be honest, I haven’t used this Seven Seas foil with an Alu mast. In general Carbon is stiffer and stronger than aluminum, which is important for aggressive riding, jumping or heavy riders that could bend an aluminum mast. On the downside, carbon is more fragile and susceptible to impact damage. Maintenance is still important, but carbon is less prone to corrosion than aluminum. Dependent on your weight and riding style you could save some $ and be totally ok with the alu mast. Hope this helped 🤞

Hi! Thanks for the review. You get up in 7kts with the ss1000 on a wing of how many square meters? And do you think is a good foil for pronefoiling? Cheers from 🇦🇷 🤙🏻

HI Tomas, thanks for your message. I was on a 5m wing but would recommend to use a 6m or 7m for the super light winds. It all depends on your weight and skillset. It's an ok foil for proning but there are definitely more suitable foils for proning. If you are Wingfoiler and would like to get into proning but do not wanna invest into an additional foil, this could be your go.

Hey! What would you think about this foil for a 92 kg guy? I've being riding a phantom fct 1680 for some time and I think is time for an upgrade, now I found one used but I'm afraid it might be too small.

I think this will be fine for you. Given enough power (wind).

@@hydrofoilacademy Thanks. That confirms what I've being told. The problem is that most of the days I go out are 10-15 kn. It is rare to find a 20+kn day here. I'll be waiting to try to get a 1200 one. Hopefully with my 8m wing I won't loose a lot of the low end.

How does it go compared to the armstong new ha's and the north sf for pump, glide, turning and stall speed? Cheers

Bothe the North and new Armie HAs are better for low end and pump. The seven seas as better glide and top speed.
