my rice cooker has the same steam leaking issue but it does not have the same issue as yours ( cable disconnection ). I don't exactly know what it is the cause but I suspect it is to do with pressure controlling valve is faulty. I'm still searching a way to fix this.
Did you ever figure out? My pressure rice cooker has an EP7 error and I've been trying to fix it too. Feeling bummed that I paid $600 for it and it breaks after a year...

Yeah same as ours. I took the lid apart and there was no broken cables
Even replaced that part with no success
help plss we have the same rice cooker but when we close it the display keeps saying its still open
