I test drove the 450+ yesterday. The ride is great and it had plenty of power. My wife’s should arrive in early January. I think it looks a lot better in person than it does online. I’ve been driving EV‘s for over 10 years now and you are right about 300 miles being the sweet spot for range. But I’ll take 400 for the 450+.
Please make sure you get the yachtwood finish and the nappa leather.. $3k more for far superior material quality and your doors won't creak with the other materials. It legit feels $30k better for $3k more.

I would love to be behind the wheel while launching this. Is it just me or does it look like the car shakes a bit and gets lower the longer you build it up?
Feel like two very different cars. Prefer the Ghost's exterior and seat comfort, but the EQS 53 is a thrill to drive and has leagues better interior tech. Given the price difference, if someone is offering either car, I'd take the Ghost.
Was this quietest car you've driven? Or is that because the mic focused on your voice because not even the Flying Spur, Maybach, or Cullinan sounded this quiet. And I mean with the road and wind noise, not engine.
It's a good thing these Mercedes EV's have beautiful interiors because they are uglier than Tesla's and aren't nearly as fast as a Model S Long Range nor do they have competitive range imo.
This car is my goal as well. I’m only 17 now, so I really would like to buy one sometime in 2024 or 2025. It will take a lot of hard work of course, but will be totally worth it! I hope you reach your goal as well.

I want to own the AMG EQS 53 one day. That car is astonishing.
i tested the EQS 580 but the AMG EQS is a different animal. That launch control is awesome, its different, its cool, and its an ELECTRIC MERCEDES-AMG
It's totally a different animal than the 450 or 580

I always don't understand why someone complains about the exterior. It's all about the lowest drag coefficient. All other cars have a worse one.

I LOVE electric cars but man I can't get over how fake the performance sound is! Launch control doesn't rev the motor, so why does it do that?
It’s because the revving produces torque and electric motors produce all torque from 0rpm.

Good question. I think the RR Ghost was still quieter from all of its sound insulation.
