    if doing 2 sides of a hallway should you do the downward pieces exactly the same or stagger them?

      Great question! Ultimately this comes down to your opinion and what you think would look best. For me, I would try to match them up, but this would depend on the obstacles on the other side of the wall (doors, windows, etc…).

      yes it does thanks! also.. what paint finish do you use to paint the walls and wood? satin? gloss? flat?? @@ReluctantDIYers

      @@itsmeamanda01 This was a highly debated topic in our house. LOL! We ended up going with a flat paint on both the walls and the boards. After looking at it for several months I’m debating whether or not to hit the boards with a semi-gloss. I’ve seen it mixed many ways between the wall and boards, but it ultimately comes down to personal preference.
      Thankfully, it’s just paint, so you can change it up later if you don’t like your first choice. 👍🏼👍🏼
