thanks a lot for the great review and help spreading the word, guys! :-) It's not a sythesizer - it's the AI talking, we couln't do anything about it - our studio computer was already infected by the virus :-)
@@APREACTS - I actually loved the crazy computer/synthesizer parts! It added an intensity to the theme of this song and was very fitting. And yes, Orden Ogan has mastered the art of making very memorable and huge choruses. Delivering choruses like they do is an rare art form all to itself :)
This Band is surely one of the most underrated bands ever. They doing absolute premium power metal and have to play in front of maybe 400 people. I really wish they will be more successful with their new album. They really deserve it! I had high expectations and they fulfilled them completely! Great song, new motto, new album. I can't wait to buy it! Thank you for the good and honest reaction! Greetz from Germany Nick
I was so happy when you posted this song on the poll. I didn't even read the other options. Love everything about this song and this band. Orden Ogan is the band I used to introduce my non metalhead husband to the world of power metal. We still rock out at least once a day to one of their songs. 🤘
Or he asked which games and movies you like and they go: terminator, tron, matrix, witcher, metro, red dead redemption, fallout, assassins creed 4, falling down. so he asks : well which one you want to do? and they answer like Gary Oldman in the professional "EVERYONE" (just not in a single song) :) and it is awesome \m/
The only powermetal band these days that really takes me back to the golden age of 90s power. Has that classic big sound. Essentially they always have reminded me of a more modern Blind Guardian and I just like everything about this band. Can't wait for the new record and I hope you get a interview with Seeb who have done a great job on this album!🤟
I don't get why people compare them to Guardian to be honest... their most obvious influence is absolutely Running Wild, which makes sense since they seem to be huge old school Running Wild fans and even recorded a song and video with Majk Moti
@@kevboard it's influences from several bands, I hear Running Wild in some of their material - we're pirates, ravenhead etc, but the Blind Guardian can easily be spotted in many of their huge choruses. Many layers, epic bombastic, lots of details.. BG have a big impact on them. Is my guess.
@@windrider6124 well Blind Guardian had an impact on the whole genre IMO. but there are a ton of songs that are absolutely heavily Running Wild Inspired. Evil lies in every Man is another example of that. many of the guitar parts on FEVER also scream Running Wild imo. EDIT: forgot Ravenhead, also extremely Running Wild-esque
@@kevboard yes we do not disagree, if we should try to describe their biggest influences it would probably be BG and Running Wild - maybe some old Gamma Ray as well. In my ears. But the thing for me personally is that they catch that classic powermetal sound which gives me - as a old power metal-head - nostalgic feelings all over 🤟
I can’t believe the lead singer put down his guitar and they got another guitarist. They have been a 4 piece forever. Great song. Looking forward to it.
Good afternoon gentlemen, yes this song was simply very good and enjoyable, I loved the speed changes and you are correct the chorus stands out as well. The video was OK, but the song itself made the video better, whereas I have heard average songs which the video makes better. It was just very good. Thanks for sharing, have a lovely day.
This band is the literal definition of SOARING chorus. As for the synth integrated into the music it really brought more meat I felt, but I'm a big fan of hybrid mixtures/heavy production so I do present the argument from a bias.
Wow that song was bombastic and so well arranged. Its very rare to find unique band these days and Orden Ogan is hella unique. Definitely this upcoming CD will be my personal musical mileatone of 2020. Thanks for review also.
Dude you guys are spot on pretty much !!! Tho we don't fully agree you guys are awesome and Orden Ogen has just came into my musical life and they will not I repeat will not be going anywhere from my playlist !
last couple of months started listen to them. got hooked right away w the chorus and great videos. the AI is different be interesting once album is out
Another great reaction - I love your dynamic as a family. How about The Hu Band? (Mongolian Folk Power Metal) "Wolf Totem", "Yuve Yuve Yu", "Sugaan Essana" - all worth checking out.
These guys always kick ass yo and this is my favorite song by them very godly choruses too . I used to be a keyboardist and this is perfect use of synthesizers . Lastly that guitar solo wowee.😊🤘😎🤘🌌🎼🎸🎹🥁🎧🖤📣🎤
Its a bit different compared to what I've been listening to by Orden Ogen but still I want to hear the whole album when it comes out. Been listening to their previous album "Gunmen" and it rocks.
i kind of hope that they CURRENT state presens smt like that they go with costumes/ledi classes and everything, mean when time comes hopefully sooner than later but fu#"# it is what it is for now
I totally get what you mean with the keyboard, it could have been a back and forth with keys and guitar like with (old) Sonata Arctica. But apart from that it's a killer song

Well, whatever it was, I liked it. It wasn't overdone, just enough to accent the theme of the song.
Orden Ogan is my favorite band. No screaming or growling. Epic music and their choruses especially!

There is this other reaction channel, Alex Hefner, and I've been trying to get him to react to them for a long time.

Band Mananger: Ok guys, what style do you want? Post-Apoc Saviours, Swamp creature things, Western Vampires, or Futuristic style?
Orden Ogan: Yes.
hahaha... :-D
you forgot enraged business man in an office building ..... AND PIRATES! 🤣🤣
Yeah next one will be interstellar theme for sure:)

@@radovan01 Or, since that's what we're expecting, they go the other way and go with a prehistoric theme for their next album.

To me, the next in line after BLIND GUARDIAN when it comes to the crown of German Metal.
I'm so hyped for the album
I love the fact that the band still does music as it was intended, to tell a story. That in itself seems to be a lost art

Is he playing in both bands now or did he quit ?
@@zephalion7386 I think Xandria isn't active right now, I know Garit is promoting another project, Catalyst Crime right now
you should check out their lyric video for Ravenhead, I just found out their name is explained at the beginning :) and it's also an awesome song :)
