I haven’t been playing for a few years and just returned this year. I only have one r4 6*, two r3 6* and a handful of r5 5*. I am hopelessly outmatched and clearly behind the arena standard these days😂😂
I usually start my streak with 6*R1s till 5 wins then go with my Top champs. Takes about 35-40 win streak to finish milestones then im done. But ill definitely try your method out and see if its faster.

You can do it with 5*, it is just a lot harder. Just keep grinding and do what you can, every little bit helps offset the costs.
