Haha real fun vid with all the Turtle copter n' Canadian coin flip wackyness. Up until now this UK tour has surprised me quite a lot regarding all the toy goodness one can find over there. And just when you think you've seen and had it all, this store comes along... A Thundercats driller MOC, M.A.S.K. Laser Command MIB and to top it of the friggin' Blackstar Ice Castle MIB!? Gee whiz!? You definitely don't see those everyday, let alone in one store!?... I like the The Legoland Black Falcon's Fortress, got one o' those as a child and still got it somewhere. If real Kenner paraphernalia, that Kenner pillow is quite unique. Entertainment World? More like a labyrynth haha Ryan's voice-over troughout this series of UK vids was a neat little addition. Already curious for the Italy trip. C y' @ Brussel Con!
I have that MOTU camera loose. I also have the brain and remco lizard dude from my childhood(lizard I think has broken leg now). What a great store that first one! Last one kinda cool too!
If you’re a Transformers fan and don’t have it. That G2 Heroes Optimus Prime shown at 3:23 of your vid is genuinely good. I use to have one and wish I still had it, but it was lost in a move because the company that was hired to help us move took the box it and various other collectables and toys I had were in. I didn’t even remember it was in that box and there was so much hassle at the time; especially with them rummaging through our stuff we packed claiming they had to check for things like matches, lighters, and other volatile things and it was just to much and we didn’t have time to find another mover company to help us because the guy who the house was sold to was wanting to relocate soon and the deadline was to close. Things just happened and we couldn’t even get stuff back from them.. I wish I could get that one you have shown in your vid but I doubt I’d be able to resist opening it. I’ve seen a couple already opened in a couple locations in the state I live in, but they are incomplete and to replace any of the missing parts costs more than buying one complete off of eBay. Anyway; that Optimus Prime is golden! Just have to be careful with the knee forming and the rocket launcher cord for the air pump. One thing a lot of people aren’t aware of or scares people is the elbow forming. At first it can be a little scary because of how stiff they can be when pulling, make sure you have a grip on both ends of the arms around the elbow so you can get a few of how they form, and just pull apart. This is one toy you certainly do not want to leave in its alt mode to often, but it roles well and has great articulation. For a toy from the 90’s; it’s very well better developed than most of the new stuff we have now. And makes a great collectors item worth preserving. Even the Laser Optimus Prime that came out sometime after wasn’t as great although it also had a good design (certainly better than all the reproductions I’ve seen!). Anyway sorry for droning on there.. I highly recommend getting that if possible, but I’d you do and want to play around with it then I recommend getting another for play and keeping that one sealed for collection/ display purposes. It is very worth it given it came from a time when it appeared that Hasbro hit a all new high in development.
Nice! I also use to have an old Technobot set. I think it was an early reproduction set and one of the best sets. Especially with how you could move around the bots that form the arms and legs to grant it more articulation. I really don’t get why Hasbro/ Takara just doesn’t stick to the old school designs and slightly update them more efficiently over the entire redesigning or whatever. I have the Studio Series Hotrod from the set based on the original movie and a Legacy Metalhawk. The Hotrod is a terrible design when it comes to transforming. They gave it the gimmicks from the film and some extras but couldn’t make his transformation between car and robot mode more like the film. And Metalhawk, although has that nice retro look, has double jointed knees and wings. A bit excessive if you ask me.
Nice pickup A jewel lord and Return of the living dead 3 uncut. I use to have that same dvd before Vestron put it out on Bluray. 🤘uncut is the way to go. So much more Gore.
