So that was by far the worst boat trip we have ever been on, and if you were wondering why there wasn't any shots of the boat trip going from Rhodes to Marmaris once you watch the video you will understand why 😅 🤮 We hope if you go on a similar boat trip, it's not as bad for you
Thanks for sharing your adventures 😃 even through your sea sickness! We had a similar experience in Mallorca with a horrendous boat trip around the island complete with an equally awful coach journey straight afterwards up the tramuntana mountains ⛰️ beautiful scenery but in terms of the boat trip I don’t think I opened my eyes once 👀 head down being sick, never again 🤪 Rhodes looks great 👍🏼 also the Ionian islands are a lovely group of islands on the west coast of Greece. We just love Greece. 🇬🇷 🥙 🧀 🍅 the people & the food 👍🏼
Thanks guys. I am so susceptible to motion sickness. I was listening to your video on my way to work and almost had to pull over. My stomach was getting quizzy, just listening to you, ha ha.
This is hilarious because my wife and I did that boat trip on our honeymoon 5 years ago (but from marmaris to Rhodes). Everyone was throwing up, my wife was in the toilet being sick and some lad was banging on the door then she heard a splashing sound 😂 sick everywhere and the smell 🤮! I was fine, I was drinking beer, maybe that was the trick to not being ill 😂
Oh nooo, wonder if that crossing is known for being particularly rough then. I've never seen so many people like that all throwing up everywhere at the same time. Literally a few hundred!! It was awful. Luckily we laugh about it now!! 🤣🤣
OMG! That was rough! 🤢 We love the Greek islands. We're off to Corfu in 3 weeks. If you prefer the non tourist areas this place is perfect. Hotel Costas Golden beach. It's a small and friendly with TUI. Family run, everyone has been there before. Amazing reviews! They cook whatever is growing in the garden. It's on the beach. One main street on the seafront with some bars and restaurants. Beautiful walks around the area. We did a fantastic bus and boat trip when we were there a few years ago. We always book these with a local company not through TUI. Looking forward to your next adventure
We did the same trip quite a few years ago but from marmaris to rhodes and I hated it ! So rough I felt awful. The worst thing is you know you have to go back !!!
When I was a teenager, whilst on a family holiday to Jersey we went on a day trip to St. Malo on the Hydrofoil. It was a bit rocky going over, but the return journey it was really rough. I was one of the lucky few who wasn't ill. Even the cabin crew were throwing up. The captain of the later crossing refused to leave port due to the weather and the ferry operator had to find hotels in St. Malo on Bastile Day.
I know I shouldn’t laugh but that was hilarious…. Poor Ken sitting on the stairs! I once had a crossing like that from Naples to Capri…. I was green . Loved your Rhodes videos…. You would love Crete too and Corfu…. Great if you get a car too
If you go to Corfu I recommend the ferry to Albania for the day. It's a huge ferry, been three times, never felt any motion! Takes about an hour there and Sarande is lovely plus there is a tour to Roman ruins you can do
Hi Stacey and Kev. I think I would have had some concerns when the boat was being bounced up against the dock. Sorry it was so bad. Hope the medication helped a little on the trip back. Very commercial area for sure, As always thank you for taking us along on your adventures ❤❤ Be well!
It helped with the seasickness but didn't help with us feeling sick from everyone else surrounded by us being ill. They were everywhere. Some people were suffering so bad it was awful. We definitely laugh about it now lol 🤣.🤣
What a shame the crossing was so choppy I have experienced that too in Greece. I would recommend Skiathos and Skopelos or even Alonossis or you could visit all three. Skiathos is the most commercial but has lots of beaches and the town is beautiful with nice shops and bars etc with a nice harbour. You can take boat trips from there too. Skopelos is where the mama mia chapel was filmed. It is more authentic with a stunning town and the beaches are scattered around the island. Car would be ideal although there are buses to some of the beaches. You can take a ferry to Alonossis from Skopelos town harbour. The last island is very stunning but quieter.

Sounds like an awful experience too 😕 lol. At least we can both laugh about it now lol 😆

Oh no sorry lol 🙈🙈. It really was awful, glad we can laugh about it now 🤣
Thanks for this , we was thinking of booking this when we go in a few weeks, i think you changed our minds 😂

Definitely try Corfu. It’s beautiful ❤
Yo,interesting sharing~
Worst boat trip I have ever done was from Rhodes town to Lindos and back. I felt seasick a month after! 🤢
Oh no, a month later. Yikes that's awful 😬🤣
I’m surprised you didn’t get Turkish delight lol with free maggots lol
Haha oh yeah no maggots this time, didn't want to risk it 🤣
That boat reminds me of one we did in Mallorca as children 🤢

Thanks for watching and for the recommendations of other islands to visit. Definitely want to experience more of Greece
Oh no what a shame the boat trip was so bad.
hello where did you park?😊
Hi, we show and explain the parking in the Rhodes Old Town vlog. Right at the beginning 😁. We used the same parking for this boat trip
Thanks for video but no thanks I aint into white water rafting on a ferry boat!
🤣🤣
