Yeah ole "Interviewer" that's actually Josh's real name, but he got picked on in school over it. So now he just goes by Josh. You must've been one of his classmates.
Nice alternative to the HK 43 with AR-15 - like controls. When you consider that HK's offerings are in the ballpark of several thousands of dollars, this might make sense to try roller-delayed 5.56.
Seems behind the curve. No 1913 on the back and that fugly buffer tube adapter is a big miss, along with proprietary trigger. There’s great triggers and binarys / registered packs for hks and ars, they should have gone with either or.
I love seeing all the innovation, and kudos to Zenith for taking a shot at this, pun intended. However, $2500 is too much for what amounts to an AR replacement. I'm getting an XCR, a nice AR, or the new PWS UXR before this, all of which cost much less or about the same on the upper end.
This is a kick-ass setup, though I have a feeling they will have some trouble not making the lower entirely AR compatible. They could have done something like PSA's JAKL, where they have an adapter plate placed in the lower to allow aftermarket lowers to be used with the JAKL, of the JAKL lower to be used on ARs.
I really wish every company with access to an aluminum extruder or cnc mill would stop pumping out half baked new guns that will be on forgotten weapons a couple years from now and instead focused on fleshing out existing (magpul ACR anybody?) designs or at least fill a new market niche. Wow its another 5.56 launcher with AR15 style controls and some parts compatibility.....but it's roller delayed! Ok but who asked for that? 😂
"so it comes in 9mm, is available for preorder with an eta of april"..... "But tell me, does in come in 9mm, is it available, and if not, when will it be?" . Sheesh the interviewer didnt hear a word that guy said.
Yep, anyone who doesn't want an ar15 but wants to pay for an unproven platform that looks and feels like an ar15 and takes ar 15 mags and furniture.....in other words nobody 😂
@@rodiculous9464 it also looks a bit heavier than a standard AR, and it doesn'teven have a light on it yet. I'll stick with the good "ol' American Rifle".
I like it so far, but ide really like to be able to attach an hk style collapsing stock, and I don’t really know why anyone would want one in 9mm as you already have the zf5. Instead of pistol caliber on a rifle platform… why not go with like a 6.5 prc or a 6 mm arc.
Who's fucking kneecaps do we have to break to get an HK33 clone? Why do they have to make them proprietary everything? Just make an HK93, if you want to update, make a 43 that takes AR mags with last round bolt hold open. Done.
Would of just rather seen the traditional HK53 style firearm. This thing doesn't look like it's for me the rail looks way to wide, and not bringing it to SHOT with a 1913 adapter .......

wait it out. zenith is well known in the industry for price gouging, it will come down in due time.

LITERALLY
I love that handguard. The kinda pear shaped profile!
I should call her...
PTR probably big mad because they were working on a rifle like this.
The grip and the mag are AR compatible? Wow!
Interesting I like it. Hope to see some reviews soon
He said 10mm so who cares about .45
Yea 45acp is forgotten about know. 10.mm every one cares about. Ruger just made a +p 45acp pcc
@@jamespugh
I think you mean PCC* 😂 PCP is a drug😬
The sub-sonic bros always care about .45
us with cans that would like something that isn't direct blowback.
10mm is overhyped unless you roll your own. Most off the shelf stuff is barely better than .40
That is quite a pencil thin looking barrel. 🤔
The original Swiss 550 series of rifles all had pretty thin barrels but are of exceptional quality.

Awesome
I might need to sell a kidney and buy the 12" barrel 10 mm version with a side folding stock. At $1500, I'd buy 10 mm and 300 BLK.

Would have been tempting if it was an HK 53 clone.
I would love to see you guys opinion on the .22arc ar-15 at Rise Armament.
Another cool gun from shot show. But that handguard looks kinda weird.
It’ll probably look better with the 12” barrel.

So a modern cetme L… cool
Can the upper work on other lowers?

Seemed kind of interesting until I heard $2,500 on the price.

Who's asking for an MP5 in 300 blackout? That's what this would be. I think there will be substantial interest .
Isn't Zenith known for copying HK?
Yes now apperantly on pricing too.
$2500 is too much for what is on offer, at that price I’m going elsewhere. Sorry it is what it is.
So the SIG556 is retro enough to get reproductions now? Damn, I'm getting old.
