your work is so good! glad to see people be creative with the book and do things in their own unique way! i'm guessing you're paying homage to ME's sprinkle song moment with your own thing: highlight song. if you're open to critique, i would save it for just one moment in the video instead of repeating multiple times. the reason why the sprinkle song works in MEs videos is cause it's done sparingly, usually only once. that said, i haven't seen your other videos so maybe this is the only time you did it 😂 anyway! your work is really good and i love that you're taking things in your own direction!
Hahaha, yeah, this was one of the first videos I ever posted and that was common feedback. Any video within the last 5 months or so, it's only been once per episode. Thanks for watching!

I absolutely love your art work it is amazing and you are so creative but I’m guessing there is a reason Moriah only plays the sprinkle song one time per video so that it doesn’t drive us viewers nuts like the juicy highlight song.I actually wanted to mute it everytime I knew it was coming
Yes, that's probably why she does. Personally I could handle more of her sprinkle song, but repetition doesn't necessarily bother me. I might start phasing it out and only picking one prompt per week to use it or shortening the clips where I'm doing highlights so it doesn't play so long. In the meantime, no hard feelings if you mute it. At least there's an obvious cue. "Juicy Highlight time" and BAM! Mute. Hahaha.
Love your style!! How do you stop the pages from sticking when you use acrylic?
Thank you! I use matte mod podge on everything and that prevents sticking. I will say, I had major issues with the pages sticking when I first started these books, but I ended up realizing that I was closing the book too early. The pages would be completely dry to the touch, but apparently still not fully cured. That takes like 2 days. So I let the pages dry to the touch and slip a piece of parchment paper between the pages when I need to close the book. 2 days later, I can take the parchment paper out and the pages never stick now 👍🏽

I love your creations💞💞💞I don't understand why she makes these pages so thin. I wanted to buy the book, but now I see how much bleeding it has, for me a reason not to buy it.
I totally get that. I have to put A LOT of effort and planning into not having the stuff bleed. It's pretty frustrating and 100% if she had made an option that was like double the price for bleed-proof paper.... I would have gotten it for sure. Still a really fun book though.
@@artwithashleighmonet Yes, the same here: I would have paid more, to have this book without the bleeding. Love the prompts. Making art should be fun and easy to do, as I see it. Planning that much and glue in the drawings are not part of that. I can still have fun watching you being creative with it.....I just watched you making the sexy Beetlejuice-girl, so funny!!! And looking pretty too, love it !!!🥰🥰🥰

What kind of paint is that metallic gold?!
It's just the FolkArt brand metallic acrylic in pure gold. Super inexpensive, but I LOVE it. Really good coverage and shine on one coat. I got it at Walmart, but here's the amazon link:
