When cockatiel Ana heard the other bird call her Mum, Ana's reaction shock me. We're having a playday with a grey cockatiel. The owner came to enquire something about DNA gender test because she is not sure of the gender of this beautiful little grey cockatiel- Pepper. Unfortunately, Pepper did not seem to have a pleasant play day with Lemon, Ana and Quishna.

G'day! We're from Australia with 3 native cockatiels.
Ana: Female, DOB 27/09/2020
Ana is a grey pearl cockatiel and she was bald as she was abused by her parents before she's 3 weeks old. She's timid and can be easily scared.
Lemon: Female, DOB 29/10/2020
Lemon is a pied lutino cockatiel with grey pattern on the right wing. Lemon is naughty and lively. She can't leave people even for one moment, she is unable to stay in the cage for too long.
Quishna: Male DOB 07/12/2020
Quishna is a pied lutino as well with grey pattern on the left wing. Quishna is the youngest one and he's smart and proud - never allow people to touch but he is gradually becoming the lead of the 3.
We live as a family, eat and play together!

What is your location? I can care for your tiel if you’re in Australia. But a better solution is you finding a better place which allows you to keep your bird.

@@AussieTiels I'm QLD, I'm trying my best to do so, because honestly as I'm sure you guys know, once you have a bond with a bird it's something so unique and special, and I don't want to give that up. Nothing like having a rough day and your babies just following you everywhere and flying onto your shoulder just to relax.
I wish we had rules like some other states where they can't discriminate against pets 🥺

I love cockatiels. When my globetrotting days are over I will try to find one in need of a home. It's ok to have a hand tame older bird so it doesn't become someone's problem when I 'pop my clogs'. 😊
