It's a snowball effect, if he didn't take the tempo then, he'd easily lose more and more health. It's easy to look at the current life and joke, but he's planning ahead
Being down 7 life turn 2 in this meta is horrible unless you have some insane turbo-level plan going on

Genuine question: other than just muscle memory and "being used to it", is there really any point in wasting time cycling Corals and similar "breaking even" units that just +/-0 gold with Brann on the field, after already firmly establishing a board and a loop when not playing specifically pirates (gain+1 health pirate per gold spent)? It seems like all those cycled minions here, that didn't generate murlocs or spells, just cost a lot of valuable time that would have been better used simply going for more rolls to find more murlocs faster.
Generally, units that break even give you far more flexibility than not having them. For example, let's say the rope is burning and there's two gamblers in the shop and you have 7 gold. It makes sense then to buy both gamblers and then roll. If you roll into something good, you can always sell a gambler and buy it, but you also have the flexibility to hold extra money until your next turn if you roll into bad cards. At least then, you have gamblers in hand and save more money than buying a unit just to sell it for one gold next turn.
Another interesting aspect is that cycle cards generally make triples far easier. If you were to buy a Drakkisath with Brann, you setup a potential triple whelp if you roll another Drakk or battlecry trigger. You could also keep Shell Collector and cycle the coins and keep the minion until you either triple it by cycling more of them naturally, or selling it for board space.

@@oireal7261 Yeah, all of that makes sense and was what I already knew, but a lot of the time, including in this video, dog didn't even buy-roll-sell, he just bought and sold immediately, even doing so when he only has 3 gold left anyway.

How can he pick out of 4 heroes and what are the side bars? (new to the game)
He paid $ to get extra heros. Normally you get 2 without paying for the battlegrounds pass. The bars next to his heros are an add-on (not part of game) that tell you win rates for heros in the lobby based off minions types.

Why are you cycling 3 gold pirate? I get it when you’re playing pirates but it has no benefit unless you decide to end on Magmaloc
It's because of habit at this point, plus sometimes you want to cycle out the cards to not have them in next roll. It removes 1 pirate from the pool, doing this over the whole game can sometimes swing the rolls you have yourself.
