Hey pal, I just wanna say thank you for your videos. I just discovered your channel. I'm a CGI & Motion Designer and I've been working for a couple of years now. Thing is, I was formed in Animation, not Design. And I'm finding that this, actually diving into Graphic Design, is ABSOLUTELY necessary if you want to have quality work. Even the simples of animations can work beautifully with a solid and intentional design. Again, thank you. I'll be around your channel a lot from now on.
👋 hello , thank you for the encouraging words . I’m glad the information has been helpful to your journey . Funny thing is , I also began my career in another field ( video production) and quickly realized concepts like hierarchy, rule of thirds , use of grids , etc. are just as important. I began to study graphic design just to supplement my knowledge but it quickly became my main field of study and I haven’t changed since . Anyway, thanks 🙏 again .
Good video but this video's sound is very low. You need to make sure your audio levels are higher. Watching on a MacBook Pro and at 90% volume it's just about audible. Please take this as a suggestion, great work though, highly insightful. :)
@@faciodesignreal true, it is popular ussr design. Just extra info: "ЛЕН гиз" in the bottom is the name of manufacturer of the books. And it is short for LENin :")
It's an advertisement for a publishing company Lengiz (ЛЕНГИЗ). It says "Books in all branches of knowledge". Basically what it means is that they have a $hit-ton of books about all kind of stuff. I also heard that this poster was used in a Soviet campaign to eliminate illiteracy, but it can be a misinformation.
Omg, the jam poster is fire!! Half of the word is not presence on the scene, yet it's 100% legible without any confusion.
My thoughts exactly! So simple yet so effective.

Thank you for the input , I will make sure to export with better audio mix next time . Thank you for the feedback 🙏
I don't think the opacity is reduced in the Knoll poster. I believe it has got to do something with the blend modes.
I think you could be right 🤟🏼
She's shouting: BOOKS!
Is she lol ?
@@faciodesignreal Yes. It's cyrylic "KNIGI" which is also only word I understand there. I don't speak russian.
@@Inkscape-tutorial-pl Thank you for the info, I love that design.
