Right, right. Really good show when they make you feel for the villain. Got it. But who exactly was the villain in Arcane? It's not a trick question. But I'd like an informed answer, if you have one. Also, Jinx is in mourning. She wasn't walking around like a "bad ass", like nothing could touch her. She was walking through the leftovers of Silco's world where she no longer has a place. All of that, that was going on around her in that montage, she was empty to. She was not walking around like she was the queen on the Undercity. Context is everything. You have to take into consideration everything that you saw leading up to that montage, including her burying Silco in the River Pilt. She's alone now, and she was walking around like a ghost, not a giant.
Viktor left because he saw the weapon designs. I didn't notice either at first. But this clarifies this abrupt scene. We are so used to having everything spelled out nowadays that we can miss such obvious stuff.

Then he later showed up in season 1 again, looking all messed up like that, and he helped Caitlyn heal Vi. Not only did Viktor cure him, but it seems he restored his youth and saved his hairline too!!!
I really love the sucker song, too. Such a cool way to summarize recent events and Jinx feelings. Amazing is also the one with the Jinx/Sevika fight ^^
It's funny to think Sevika might be the closest thing to actual family Jinx has left. She was Silco's number 2, at his side every day as he raised Jinx. Probably helped him take care of her. Raising a traumatized little girl as a single father would be a lot of work just by itself - but doing it AND taking over the Undercity as well. She'd almost definitely carry some of the load for him, watching Jinx when he was busy, teaching her to fight, maybe even helping her with "lady problems" that Silco didn't know how to handle 😁 Hm. That might not end well for Sevika.

Yeah well, even though it will be reworked, we don't know how much it will change From the opening, where he puts on a mask, we can guess that he will keep the mask, since Viktor has a mask, like, makes sense We also saw progress day, some of the earlier hextech designs he was working on, I can't help but imagine he will incorporate the hexcore to power other hextech devices somehow, combining them together to somehow create adaptive hextech, hextech that literally evolves... using the adaptive rune matrix of the hexcore to do so Also, we see Viktors crutch has been affected by the hexcore just by him touching it, growing, extending It seems that he has basically become a tech-priest, able to bend mechanical and biological matter and fuse them together to fix existing issues with people, curing them of their shimmer-addled bodies, there is a chance he is able to do more than just cure pre-existing conditions, Jayce said in season 1 they were thinking of using the Hexcore for biological augmentation, even extending life... none of which Viktor has done yet Also, he has Skye's notes, designs that she was working on for a year, we have literally no idea what she was cooking My prediction is that Viktor will turn to use the hexcore to physically augment people, not just give them hextech tools like Jayce, but make them better, stronger, and not in a self destructive augmentation like shimmer Only thing is, we have no idea what the downsides of the hexcore is, but the Arcane comes with a price, and Viktor is ball sprockets deep in wild runes... fluff if I know

Viktor in League is like one of the most generic characters, totally that Dr Doom lawful evil vibe, random guy fused with technology driven mad with power. Then in this series they make him one of the most complex and interesting characters while keeping most of his lore, or at least the character concept, intact.
I wonder how Luke is gonna handle the 'beast' character who Singed is creating. The character is a playable in LoL, so we know what it looks like, as well as a good idea WHO it is, as each LoL champion has a biography, and 'beast' is 1 of the most brutal ones. If you remember in S1 EP9 we see Singed looking at a yellow/golden pocket watch with a blonde haired girl with a bun hairstyle, presumably his daughter, us who have played the game have guessed to be Orianna, who is also a playable character and also has a sad biography. And if she shows up, then I don't know which 1 of us is gonna tear up the most, us who plays the game, or you since you are a parent. If we have guessed correctly, the reason why Singed parted ways with Heimerdinger, was because he wanted to save his daughter, and is why he is creating the 'beast' as a test.

I knew it, that Heenot's (Smeech's accountant) voice sounded a lot like Heimerdinger's but deeper! It's the same VA. Also Smeech's VA sounds incredibly good and unique.
The opening montages to these first two episodes are both a real kick in the feelings but extremely good for it all the same lmao. Sevika is a gambler (you can see her betting with some very tarot-looking cards in mid S1 shortly before Vi first knees her in the face, IIRC. I believe the tarot cards were The Magician, whose stylised design happened to look a bit like Viktor, and Death.. which is.. interesting..) so the 'randomness' of the new arm is a little treat for both of them. 😆
That is what is so great with the Arcane series. There are no complete black and white characters. Everyone has their reasons for doing the things they do. Even if it is for good or bad reasons, you understand why the characters are doing the things they are doing, and you also can sypathise with both side. Sense we get to see both sides at the same time. But I think that is one of the reasons the Arcane show is so great it that the characters are behaving in realistic ways. They are ansering things that are happening to them with a genuin and belivable reactions. One that is based on their upbringing and experiances.
The "criminals" have a name btw. Might be important to remember, Silco's organization is called CHEM-BARON (also those who attacked them last episode are called Turbo Chem Tanks -an old item to the game they already took it out)
I'm now curious as to whether the hexcore was using images of Sky to manipulate Viktor or if the sentience it now possesses IS Sky, since its outward display of cognitive response came AFTER the accident.

I think this is the beggining of the glorious evolution religion in zaun, but like in his actual lore, vicktor doesn't really want people to worship him like a good, all he wants it's to heal and help people from their suffering.
