- Sanjay Subrahmanyan performed a piece in Ragam Mohanam where he was brilliantly supported by violinist S Varadarajan. Later into the performance he sang a wonderful Kapali composed by Papanasam Sivan. Percussion accompaniment was provided by Neyveli B Venkatesh on mridangam and Alathur Rajaganesh on kanjira.
No words to describe....I was just immersed in mohana 👏👏👏👏

Mohanam mohanamaaga irundathu manathirgu. I used to enjoy laligudi sir trio on mohanam in which the interludes were given by flute Ramani sir and Venkatraman sir I used to enjoy whenever ii feel depressed. I like only Sanjay Subramanian he is far better than TMK.
other than the violin being miked too strongly, so that the harmonics have become dissonant and irritating to anyone with a sensitive ear, other than that, which is now pretty much par for the course and a filter down from the Ego based western rock music these kids all listen to, other than that, great concert....Violin so much does NOT need a pick up mike. Now its Electric Violin, not the same instrument...
