I have been using winlink HF for a couple of years now. This year I want to try and do it on VHF. We now have a station close enough to reach. Again love the drone footage! 73
Hi Sir. I didn't understand what you were doing in the pillbox. But I admire your ideas. Radio provides a great opportunity to have a good time in very strange but also interesting places. 👏👏👏
Nothing more than that I wanted to hike to that place for many years, and thought it was a cool place to make a video 😁 Doesn't matter to me if it's a castle or a cave, it's still fun to visit 😉
@@LB4FH I won't brag, but I will tell you Sir. Once I visited about 13 large abandoned settlements (real cities) and worked on the air from there. 👻👻👻 It was the most impressive radioactivity of my life.
That sounds cool@@R2DXU , do you have a video of it? We don't have any abandoned cities here (that I know of), so that's not something I can try, although it sounds very much fun
@@LB4FH This is the northern workers settlements of Russia, latitude 67 °. I wasn't shooting a UA-cam video at the time, so there's almost no video. I took a lot of photos. Some of the very first (old) videos on my channel may make it clear what is being discussed. There are 5 videos there. VORKUTA the place is calling!

I would love to try it over VHF or packet, but I don't have the equipment for it.
Thank you! 73!
Winlink is great. Thanks for the awesome footage!
Thanks for watching 😊
