18:04 this is absolutely holding. Dude was grabbing him by the horse collar inside of his pads.. 100% holding
let him be salty it makes this reaction so much better😂
Lmao let that be micah bet he say it was holding
Not to mention you can't tackle him and land on him
Great reaction bro. I was 13 yo the last time the Lions won a playoff game. It was against the Cowboys in 1991. Lions won 38-6 in the Silverdome. I thought the Lions would go on and be a great team for years to come because we had Barry Sanders. But instead, the Cowboys were the team that went on and became the dynasty. Maybe this is the start of a Lions dynasty? 🦁
That first one was not PI because both players were making a play on the ball. Each has equal opportunity to go after it, by the rules. That's why they tell you to get your head around and read the body language.
Fans were literally crying in the stands. We still love Stafford and his family, what they went through and their community work.
If the defender attempts a play on the ball it's not PI
people gotta understand that if a CB is going for the int then it doesnt matter if there is contact
"That's not holding." HAHAHAHAHA 18:01
11:35 its cuz hes trying to intercept the ball, not interfering with the pass
Who would have thought two NFC North teams would still be in the 2nd round of the playoffs.
I'm a lions fan and hope what happens is that the NFC Championship game is lions vs Packers the tiebreaker game. Then lions play the chiefs in the superbowl so the first game of the year and the last game of the year are both lions vs chiefs
@@kurokitsune17and we won both times 🤭
That offsides call was ridiculous. Lang told a story about the refs during half time almost kicking him out because he was showing people the call on his phone and getting loud.... And also might have been calling out the refs directly.
Call me dumb but....who's Lang?
@@JaredBruskiTJ land former Packer and Lion OL current analyst for Detroit
@@313Mann oh appreciate it. Crazy shit
In answer to your questions. Yes the refs blew the neutral zone infraction calling it a false start. Very bad call but ended up not impacting the game. The pass interference non call you questioned was because the Lions player was going for the ball and at that point he has every right to catch the pass. If he hadn’t played the ball then it would probably be Pass interference.
Loved this reaction! :)
That wasn't PI... Everyone is allowed to go for the ball
Youre allowed to jump for the ball on defence. Puka rab hit route INTO the defender so its a no pi. That last drive was pi for sure
The no call on the PI at the end took points off teh board for the Rams in a 1 point game... BUT the blown offsides call enforced as false start took points of the board for the Lions in a 1 point game...
Seems like an even split to me
@satchelraidincoming636 yeah just wish the refs didn't always seem to have some major fuck ups in these games. I get they're only human but man, watching the forearm to Reynolds head was alot to stomach and I gotta be honest that Kerby Joseph hit was for sure flaggable.
@@JaredBruski The Kirby hit probably should be illegal, but as the rule stands its not. Stafford has always had an issue with high throws and iuts led to various WRs getting lit up.
@satchelraidincoming636 yeah i agree the throw placed higgins high but tbh Joseph does look like he dove early and let's be honest he did this with Hockenson too. I'm just saying, i excused the forst one cause hockenson tried jumping and Joseph looked like he might have hit his waist instead before the jump, but this one just is gonna paint a bad light on him.
@@JaredBruski Idk what else you or anyone else expect from him? Can't go high, its a penalty. If you the guy center mass, you are likely not making the tackle. Worth pointing out that a Ram player tried a similar hit on Laporta early but Laporta managed to dodge it... In other words this is how DBs hit TEs over the middle. Don't let salty Ram fans gaslight you on this...
And heck it goes beyond that. Go back to the int Hutch got this season. The tackler hit him at teh knee because thats how small guys try to tackle big guys. Maybe the NFL should put ij a weight limit for players and just disallow any hits outside the "strike zone"?
Here we have a Cowboys fan in gruef. They will be like this again in a year.
Who’s your team?? Prolly a bandwagon fan
🤣After that phantom false start against the lions the fans was giving it to the refs lol. I think the chant was F you refs.
It was cool seeing that first few series with Goff and Josh Reynolds hooking up for like 80 yards. Reynolds came over halfway through Goff's first year here and immediately had chemistry from their time in LA. Reynolds opened up the field and gave confidence to Goff which led to Amon-Ra St. Brown to break out. Keep your eyes on #14 for Detroit. He's gonna be a stud here for a while. With the chip on his shoulder he likely won't leave in FA.
Lions got a great offensive nucleus with young players all coming here within 3 years. I worry about losing the OC.
Not a pi cuz he was playing the ball. Was looking right at that mf ball and happen to run into the others. In rules, as as you play the ball, no pi. Good ass call but L call on that false start.
It's not PI because he is playing for the ball.
A cowboys fan talking about cheating is crazy😭
That first hit with Anzalone definitely hurt him. He got dinged again later in the game and played most of the game hurt.
The rule states a defender is allowed to go up for the catch. In that situation, it is not pass interference.
Im so glad you're not a ref haha
St. Brown is 1st team All Pro Litteraly top 4
yeah the fact he said "maybe top8" is actually absurd lmao
Amon-Ra St. Brown is all pro, definitely top 5 for the sun god
We got a bad call against us and the refs gave motown a break that's the way it goes Brother.
You said it right. Scouting team was terrible. Terrible picks. That's what made Berry retire if we are being honest. So poor drafting for decades.
J mo fastest wr in the nfl
Haha never done this…. Lol
That's what you get for rooting for Dallas and picking against the Lions. Wrong on both counts.
You're a Cowboys fan and don't know the Refs ate getting paid to make calls against the Lions??? Amon-Ra St.Brown I a top 5 WR and an All Pro.
damn this guy really can't see rip...
that was an obvious hold bro what are you talking about...
Lions no joke! You out of anyone should know that😉
Hoecht is a OLB
ST Brown
You are CLEARLY bias in this video. Not a good look.
11:24 The 2 Lions defenders are making contact with each other in the air. They have the right to make a play for the ball. Good call especially since the refs weren't calling this contact all game on both teams. Early in the first drive the Rams were draping themselves all over the Lions receivers but there were no calls cuz the Lions were catching the balls.. The Rams set that precedent early in the game and the refs never called it so the Lions rose to that level.
17:50 ABSOLUTELY HOLDING on Aidan Hutchinson.
18:18 Stafford KNOWINGLY threw into 4 defensive players on PURPOSE trying to generate the PI call. The refs got it right. That looked bad but it was mostly Lions defenders hitting each other and some contact with the receiver but it was legal because they were all trying to catch the ball. Pause the video when the ball is there and it bounces off the receivers hands BEFORE any contact is made from defenders.
L CALL
that call was L
