A new information has came to light that it has a * 7.1 Surround Sound* capabilities. You just need to press the mute button twice in succession to activated it.
Note: You might find the sound when turning on the virtual surround sound kinda messy, its because that the original sound probably was not made for a surround sound so feel free to play around. For me I might keep it under the normal set up.

@@pipgaming3410 you download the file from my drop box. And simply import it to equalizer APO. The file might appear as csv or txt

I just bought the purple version of this headphone set thing, and I'm really glad I'm watching this review. I was going to buy the Logitech but this was slightly less expensive.
Some said it has a better head fit also as the bands extend more than logitech.
Why does mine have no noise cancellation on its mic? it picks up my keyboard and other background noises easily.
Noise cancelation basically reduces the hiss sound not an entirely sound coming from other sources

@@gyverr really? I have Havit Fuxi H3 which is almost identical headset and it seems to use standard 80x100mm cushions the same as Steelseries Arctis, Razer Barracuda X, Audio-Technica m-series etc. they were a bit difficult to put back on though. I'm pretty sure these are removable too
Need help. I still have to plug in the type c cable just to get the headphone name display/appear. Cannot connect via bluetooth either.
Once you turn on the head phone you can double click the power button to switch to bluetooth and wireless connectivity. Try it as it might resolce your problem

If its purely for ps4 and ps5 i would say hyperx probably is louder and better if you are into fps games. But h848 is comparable

Is this bigger (longer expandability) of the ear cap adjustments vs G435? I feel the G435 is too small for my head as they don't extend enough
If head room is your concern as much as I want to recommend this i wont since i tried it and it only extends a few cm. I can recommend arctis 1 wireless not the nova one as it has a good adjustment band.
@@gyverr hey, thanks for your feedback! I picked these Red dragons up today and I (constructively) disagree with you. They do extend further than the Logitech G435, the ear cups are larger and less clamping force. About to test the sound quality and mic now, but out of the box they are very light, little to no clamping force and actually fit a male adults head!

Just wanted to ask, even if you did say it's performance is similar to the tamago, would it be better than the alto mh91? I do want a headset with decent mic quality and sound but somewhat comfortable so I'm still undecided
Well if you dont mind your self charging the headphone every time you finish your session then go with h848 or tamago. They are light weight than mh91 for sure altho mh91 gives you consistent battery as it has cable.

You can do it in equalizer APO, i cant really tell you which slider but you need to experiment the sliders in e.APO

You can use this with a wireless mouse. This headset has its own perks and in my experience even being a wireless, it sound good.

Hi!, so recently i have bought the headphones and i kinda feel that they sound “muffled” i don’t know if im the only one with this problem but the sound isn’t that good :(
Some said that its due to the connection. Try using the 2.4ghz and not the bluetooth. Next, if you are using the 2.4ghz dongle try to change the usb port as sometimes there are bad ports. If the sound is not to your liking feel free to download my Equalizer APO settings it will make it better.

UnfortunTely there are no replacement officially. Some stated that you can unscrew them but I havent tried kt myself.
Hello. I have a question. These headphones are around PHP 2000 but they have been released for quite a while now. Are these the best headphones for their price range or are there other ones that might be better?
Hmm depends pn what you are looking for actually. If we are talking about wireless headphones then as of right now yes. This is the best budget lightweight wireless headphones you can get. But if we are talking about wired headphones then no. Fifine h6 headphone would be a lil bit better due to ite surround sound. There is also another headphone review I am releasing and I would say its the best wired headphone I tested next to the fifine h6.

Mate, have you found out a way to turn off the usb dongle's led? That thing blinks even when the pc is turned off. Its awful when you wanna to sleep.

I opened that damn dongle and ripped the 2 leds off with a plier. It is perfect now!. I also activated the surround option thanks to your fixed post and now its way better than the default one. Today was a good day.

Yup! I am using a manono dgm20 mic with this headphone.
I can't import your settings on neither equalizer or peter's equalizer apo, I started applying it manually but I don't know what are the right numbers on your file for, please help xd
Oh you usually just import it and equalizer apo wil ldo the trick. Ill try to get a screenshot and upload it also in the folder. Kindly check back next week around Friday.

@@justdontgivea6880 oh yeah the change in my settings is very minimal that you might not notice it but it definitely has an impact. Try to turn it on and off in equalizer apo the main thing you will notice is my setting is a little bit louder and has a little bit more bass

I dont think you can, but some say its removable. The issue is where to find replacement so sadly I would say you cant.

H848 has decent mic. Whg03 however is okay but sound quality out of the box is better in whg03p
Hi, do you have a copy of the Redragon H848 software? I cant seem to find it in their website
As of the time of filming there is no software. The one I mentioned is called EqualizerAPO that lets you edit the headset frequency.
Have you tried this with a fan, an electric fan around?
If the fan is close to you it will pick it up but if it has a good a mount of distance it shouldnt pick up that much as this one has noise suppression at the very least.

This mate. You can basically make it better with few tweaks and wont be spending that much.

thats sucks you might altho there are some cases where you need to change the port from usb 3 to usb 2. It did happened to me quite sometime so you can try that if you havent yet

My main thinking is its not plug all the way through. Also, you might want to check the devices in your pc and make sure its using the h848 as the input.
Try unplugging your mic and plugging it in again. Worked for me.
I'm having trouble choosing between the H848 and the Fantech Alto. I'm considering the wireless option due to its lightweight design, which may result in less sweating during use compared to the Alto. However, since I tend to sweat easily, you mentioned that the cushion isn't breathable. How does it feel? Is it hot or humid? Additionally, if I do sweat, is the cushion removable for washing?

My H848 turns off by itself after some idle time (roughly 1-2mins), its pretty annoying for when you are using it on pc while working/browsing. Seems like a kind of battery saving function. Does anyone knows how to turn that function off?
Unfortunately, it does happen to me too and right now there isnt any software that lets you control it.
Hey guys could you give an elaboration on this issue? What do you mean by idle time? Like after it's disconnected from a device and its searching for a connection? Or is it when nothing is being played it turns itself off suddenly
@@luccastan6638 it means when its not being used. It will Automatically turn off after 15mins or so if I am not mistaken.

@@luccastan6638 , yes thats the idle that they are mentioning. If you are literally in silence and no music playing in your headphones it will shut down. As long as there is a little bit of sound it wont.

Download the software and download my custom present. It should be in a form of .txt or .csv and just simply upload it in the equalizer APO.

there is a dongle included that you plug to your pc, nevertheless it also has bluetooth connectivity.
How about the latency? Its a common problem with wireless headsets, especially when you are using it in bluetooth mode. There is a delay between the sound input from the program and output into the headset. Does it has any issues with that?
Thats why you use the 2.4ghz dongle. But if its bluetooth, I dont notice delay

@@JavierFernandez-78 so what I can suggest is go to your windows microphone setting and reduce the input volume to around 25% it might have been maxed out so its getting a lot of noise.

@@gaetnus7423 it really anu priority mo… if you are fine using a wired headphone then choose razer but if you want a cheaper headphones that is wiresless then you cant go wrong with this one.

How to activate gaming mode in my phone?
You mean connecting to your phone? If thats the case you to double click the power button once its on to activate bluetooth mode. As for the surround sound I have a pin comment on how to use it.

I'm really stuck between g435 and this, I play fps games like valo and some survival games so footsteps is really important. Which is better po?
If footsteps is your concern as stated in my review the redragon covers it and pretty loud tbh even if you turn the volume down. Honestly speaking i havent even maxed out my headphones volume when playing just right around 60-70% of volume. Take note that Im using my custom setting in equalizer apo

Like Rainbow Six Siege can precisely tells you where the enemy is but for some games it will only let you know that they are arround or close to you and will have precise sounding footsteps when they are very near.

As for me I have never used it for output since its basic function is to charge. Knowing that most usb ports are lock depending on the use I would assume its only for charging.

@@jessdacillo8779 ive been using it everyday and no noticeable delay on my end even in competitive games. Lastly, most of headphones uses 2.4ghz wireless connectivity to reduce latency compare sa bluetooth kaya mostly ng nakikita mong wireless uses a specific dongle for signal transmission.

Boss tanong ko lang, yung unit ko kasi walang sounds pag wired mode. Di siya madetect ng pc. Ok naman pag 2.4/BT mode
Its either nirerecognize siya as charging, try to unplug ung receiver pag gagamitin mo ng wired mode.

Ive been a user of redragon and so far they never failed my expectation so ill go with this one.
Looking po ako for new headset. di ko alam kung ano mas maganda (fantech tamago or Redragon h848 IRE Pro) and hirap po humanap ng maaos na review and i saw this video po.
Tamago and h848 are basically the same as they are an alternative to g435. So for me no matter what you pick it will be good

There is a mute button make sure its not on. Also set up your audio gain to h848 in the software you are using same goes with windows

As long as it has a usb port it should work since the usb dongle has an auto driver installation process when you plug it.

Hey man try double tapping the power button when on, your issue happened to me and I pressed the power button while On twice and switched to bluetooth mode.
Could you please run some tests to check the soundstage, bass accuracy, mid accuracy and treble accuracy?

I disagree that volume wheel is better than buttons, at least I don't like the volume wheel on Razer Barracuda X - it feels cheap and touching it creates an echo inside the earcup
Well we are entitled to our opinion, as for me volume wheel is better as in my experience a lot of volume buttons is harder to press and most of them tend to fluctuate. Not saying volume wheel doesnt fluctuate but it is a much more smoother experience.
there are now multiple near identical headsets so I was worried it's just some generic cheap chinese garbage but I decided to buy one - I decided for Havit Fuxi H3 because it comes with USB-C to 3.5mm cable. I bought Razer Barracuda X earlier but at 263 grams (without mic) it is too heavy for me and it was pretty tiring after few hours of wearing them. I'm positively surprised with the sound quality of Fuxi H3 - a little bass heavy but overall pleasant sound, activating virtual surround only requires pressing mic mute button twice, no tedious registration and software installation needed unlike with Razer. the wireless dongle range isn't as good as Razer but still serviceable for me, and yeah I don't know why all of them have blue LED on the dongle that blinks when the headset is turned off but you can always cover it with some tape or something. not much to complain at less than half the price of Barracuda X. if the Havit one breaks I will try the Redragon
It is what you said it is somehow a general manufactured chinese dongle. Its not bad and its workable really. And you just need to tune your headphones to make it better.
But can it do simultaneous wireless and bt though?
Some said that when doing it the other connection get muffled. So i wouldnt advise

If you have a big head this is better as it adjust way further. If not then its your own judgement whether you want to stick with a known brand or a alternative. For me ill pick the redragon everytime its cheaper and will give you the similar performance.
