Restore do you really have to charge that much for that product?😢
People won't believe the product works unless they overcharge for it! 🌺
It doesnt work! Dont bother
They make money because of unethical doctors making videos like this. That is why they charge so much.
@@caty2fulIt’s worked for me.
Didn’t work for me
I've used this faithfully for 2 years and zip, zilch, zero hair growth. I gave it a good go but I am over it and now stuck with and no idea what to do with it.
The same here ☹️
I have the brush and I didn’t see any results either. I have it there, i was thinking about using it on my face 😂
Do you have a medical condition for hair loss or not? I was about to buy one when I saw your comment
@alisonbelkis5272 no medical issues at all.
Have a great Wednesday all!
You too!
Happy Wednesday Dr Dray so excited to be here i live for this❤️
Morning!
Do you think RLT or anything will help regrow thinning hair for a 82 year old?
it is hard to predict, but older adults with thinning can see improvement in hair thickness and density
Happy Wednesday, Dr.Dray❤
Happy Wednesday!
Good morning Dr Dray ❤
Morning!
Expensive shit😊
My thoughts exactly. I am too sensible to take this bait.
Would this work for traction alopecia?
I know that you want the doctor's answer, but I will give you my personal answer. YES! ❤ It works well with minoxidal, or Bosley hair regrowth (3 part system).
It can help, but the key with traction is to stop putting traction on the scalp. If the traction has been going on a long time and the follicles are scarred, then this device will not help at that point
Does the device help with scalp conditions other than hair loss such as seborrheic dermatitis or eczema or psoriasis?
LLLT may have beneficial effects on those scalp conditions due to its anti-inflammatory effects
@@DrDrayzday Thanks, Dr Dray. I intend to book some sessions at my local red light place. Hopefully it will help.
Should prob mention they charge an 18% service fee to return it. That's $450 to return it at the full retail price. So it's not completely free to try for a year.
I'm disappointed to see her hawking a device that is out of most people's reach, especially given how distressing hair loss is.
@@BebeDaulwould you rather her hawk things that she either hasn’t tried or that won’t work? Haha
@@davidle3567 many, many people are commenting saying it didn't work for them. I'd rather see her hawk nothing.

@UncleCharlie111x2 🤣😅😂
🤣😂🤣
Haha, that’s a hilarious thought! We love the idea of racing to a fuller head of hair! 🚴
I still think it’s a waste of money.
I used it for well over a year, it did nothing. Scalp massage seems to be helping tho
Of course it is! It doesnt work.
I was hoping to see Dr. Dray's results.
Problem is she’s always had thick hair so it would be very hard to see much of a change.
I appreciate your videos and watch for them daily! I'd love to use RLT for my hair loss and thinning. However, I take NSAIDs and get cortisone injections. I read online that these meds make RLT ineffective. I asked my doctor about this, but she admitted she doesn't know. Can you please tell me if what I read is accurate? ...thank you!
Thanks for the information, Dr Dray. If only it was more affordable. *sigh* Happy Wednesday! Hope you have a nice evening. 💗
Do red light LED facial masks increase hair growth on your face?
When I was a teacher in South Korea, all the female teachers pitched their money together to get one of these types of helmets for the office and we all took turns using it once classes were over. It became a running joke for the principal to pause every time he stepped into the teachers lounge when he saw one of us using it. ^^
I will say that my hair was longest it's ever been while I was over there, and I definitely think this type of therapy played a role.
2000+$?!
That's my thought, too.
Right, and the coupon code doesn't work on the current price 😒
@@ajfuller83 it's too expensive even with a coupon...
I have used the Irestore Pro for 7 months with good results. I got new hair growth in my temple areas and somewhat denser hair overall using it for 25 minutes every other day. I am now going to try for every three days as a maintenance schedule. I sure hope it works as well!
We're happy to hear it’s helped you! That’s encouraging. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Can you use it after applying minoxidil or do you need to wait?
This is a great question 🤔 hope she sees it!
yes, you can use it that way, no problem
For me, I use minoxidil after using the helmet, its easier that way. I got the professional one last month.
Thank you so much for your well researched videos. I’m considering red light therapy, not with a helmet but with a panel that I can use on different parts of my body (I feel like it’s a better investment that way) but I appreciate your information. Helps me make skin and haircare decisions :)
I see there is also an iRestore LED mask so I must know if you recommend this one over the Omnilux?
My bf and I have used irestore pro for over a year. It helped a little but not as much as I had hoped. I will keep using it but I've ordered hair extensions because I'm just not able to grow the hair I want. For people worried about the price, it's basically the cost of a year of rogain, or 6 months if you share the cost with your partner.
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear that you and your boyfriend have been committed to using iRESTORE Pro. Hair growth can vary from person to person, and we appreciate your patience. Even if you don’t see new growth right away, having less hair loss is still a win!
I don’t have pattern baldness however I’m finding that my hair is thinning as I age. Would this benefit that situation? I’ve never been diagnosed with any particular hair loss issue.
it can help restore thickness and density
@@DrDrayzday Thankyou!
I just have thinning with age and I’ve been using the old version (not elite) and it’s definitely made my part look much sharper. I was surprised to notice that much of a change.
@@Hemmyii Thanks so much!! I may need to get one!
What are your thoughts on TikTok’s using the Omnilux red light mask made for face on their scalp?
Omnilux has not tested their mask for scalp use, so while this won't hurt, it is difficult to predict what kind of results you would get, as the mask may not have good contact with the scalp to direct the light energy
A dermatologist at Facebook, is using it on her hands as well.
@@Gingerella917 i use it everywhere 😂
I use my omnilux mask at my thinning parts on the side of my head at the temples. Think I have grown some more hair there 🤔
Could you post your results?
Good morning! I keep trying to get my surrogate son to try this... 💜💜💜
it is a great device 👍
Woo hoo!!!! Thank you so much. I’m going through peri menopause and having some hair issues; at the moment I subscribe to Nutrafol which is working but it doesn’t hurt to get a little extra help. Yes, I’m vain; I love having a full head of hair and will do everything to keep it on my head, so once again thank you Dr. Dray for the opportunity to save some $$$$$$$$$❤
We’re so glad to hear you’re finding something that works for you. It’s completely understandable to want to maintain that full head of hair. Combining iRESTORE with your Nutrafol regimen can give you that extra boost you’re looking for. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your hair journey!
Wonder if the irestore professional used daily would give the same result as the elite?
Can pcos also cause temporal hair thinning in females that doesn't grow back despite 3 to 4 years of thinning
yes, though it is possible to get regrowth
@@DrDrayzday recently started using ketoconazole shampoo to get those back even though there's been years of thinning
My daughter reversed her lean PCOS and her hair is now growing back. It took me months to create a plan to fix this. Morning: 2 tbsp ground flax, 1/2 tsp inositol, 15 mg zinc, Jamieson probiotic women 7 million, biosil. Evening: 1/2 inositol, green tea (DOMatcha decaf 2 grams), red light therapy (full panel) on ovaries 7 minutes/day, and a laser comb for hair (optional). This ameliorated her symptoms and she has a regular cycle with hair regrowth and no acne. I hope this info helps!
@@jpintero6330 hi thanks 🙏 may I ask which inositol are you using?
Good morning! Have you heard about Japanese brand yaman? They have many face, body, and hair devices.
Why can't i just put my led face mask on my head?
Hi Dr Dray. One of my biggest concerns with me deciding to use a device like this or not is increased hair shedding or complete hair loss ? There are quite a bit of reviews out there with people that have used these irestore helmets, and they have said that their hair shedding was overwhelming when using this device. In some cases people have also said that this caused them to lose a lot of their hair permanently instead of this helping to grow new hair for them. What is your take on this, and can these irestore devices cause permanent and irreversible hair loss ??? Thank you
**PSA** Just so everyone knows - the Elite is currently on sale for $1,899 and her code *does not* take $625 off of that amount. It only replaces the current sale price of $600 off. So you're only going to save $25 right now.
So best price discount I’ve seen on all IRestore units is on Black Friday it may be worth waiting …
Greetings Dr Dray hope u r well n 🖐Hello Every1 n Happy Wednesday😀n what a Wonderful Vid…. thanks n This is Gonna b so Insightful🔥👍n Continued Blessings to All💜….

How often should you use it?
I recommend daily use
@@DrDrayzday thank you so much for answering 😊
@@DrDrayzday I noticed a significant improvement after daily use of this product. Previously I only used every other day and the result was meh. Thanks so much Dr Dray!
Hello! For the iRESTORE Elite we recommend to use it daily with 12-minute treatments.
Hi. Dr. Dray,
Thank you for this video. I bought the iRestore’s Professional model about 8 months ago because I noticed a lot of shedding and thinning of my hair. My hair is still shedding but learning that shedding 100-200 hairs a day is normal makes me feel better. I think my hair is growing because I can see baby hairs I am very consistent in my use of the IRestore helmet. Is the Elite better than the Professional or is the difference just the time and frequency of use ( every other day for 25 minutes vs. daily for 12 minutes)? Thanks, Dr. Dray!
@dorayoung1073 it seems the elite might be better since sje used the professional before, then switched to the elite. Personally, i find this frustrating as shortly before they came out with the elite, i saved up and splurged on the professional. Ive seen very limited help, if any. And if i had known they were soon to be releasing a better model, i would have waited and used the funds toward the latest one. By the time i save up for the elite, they will have released the next level....
Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s great to hear you’re seeing baby hairs and being consistent with your iRESTORE helmet-that’s a positive sign! As for the difference between the Elite and Professional models, the Elite has 500 lasers & LEDs, while the Pro has 282 lasers & LEDs. The Elite has a higher power output (2,500 mW) compared to the Pro (1,410 mW). The Elite has triple wavelength technology (only device on the market). The Pro has single wavelength. For more information you can take a look online under "Compare Devices"
Hi Dr. Dray, thanks for this video. Do you have any recommendations on how to transition off minoxidil to start using only this type of device? (i.e. to prevent potential shedding when stopping minoxidil use). Thanks!
I’ve started with “The Essential” 3 years ago then upgrade to “The Professional” & now I’m wondering if I “need” the “The Elite” any thoughts? I do commit to it & I’ve noticed the biggest benefit for me personally is no more scary hair fall in the shower
No point in watching a $2,000 device most cannot afford especially me.
I got a face and neck mask with a Black Friday discount, and I just stick it on my head after my face. That’s good enough for me.
Prime days coming up in October... I may try this.
I do this too!
I am currently loosing hair in handfuls everytime i wash it after being put on Mounjaro for diabetes, after 3 month's my diabetes is now pre diabetic but i cant stand the hair loss so iv stopped the injection. I cant find any firm medical advise or guidance regarding this medication. Im hoping the hair re grows, this red light would be amazing but looking at the comments i guess ots super expensive!!
We're sorry to hear about your hair loss-that can be really frustrating. It’s great that your diabetes is improving, but we understand how concerning hair loss can be. Many people have seen positive results with red light therapy, and it could potentially help with hair regrowth. While we know our devices are an investment, we also aim to provide effective solutions for hair health. That's why we offer TrueMed as a payment option, letting you use your FSA or HSA to buy the device.
Do you know if someone with a history of skin cancer can use it?
Hi there, we recommend that you consult with your doctor for personalized medical advice before using our devices.
Can I get the same results from putting my omnilux on my head lol
I will say this. I use the omnilux face mask and since I started I don’t have the gray hair around my face anymore. It used to be a halo of white. But only the very front around my face. I have more hair around the perimeter of my face too
You don't need to purchase the helmet. The $150 LED masks from Amazon do the same thing. Just wear it on your head. I've doing this for years with great results.
I have been diagnosed with lichen planopilaris. I do receive steroid injections in my scalp but still have itch and irritation. I know the hair loss with this condition is permanent, but would a device like this help with symptoms?
Very interesting information! TFS!❤️
thanks for watching
I have their old one and wish I could get this new cordless one, but I couldn’t justify getting another.
Thank you so much for the video! ❤ Since it is very expensive and not everywhere available, what do you think of the current body one? It has only Led and not the low laser, but it is way more affordable.
Conclusion at 10:13
Going through perimenopausal hairloss for last two years. irestore has done very little. It hasn’t even helped to slow down hairloss.
Does topical minoxidil for women cause blood pressure issues? I can’t find any reputable sources to state yes or no. I have two cans I just purchased but I’m reluctant to use it.
Is it safe to use during breastfeeding to help with postpartum hair loss?
I bought a HairMax Laserband. I used it for over a year with no results.
Is this safe for melinated skin?
Sorry in advance if you already answered. I just started the video.
I’d love to see my husband try this, but wow, that’s a lot of money.
If you have blond highlights, will this affect the color ?
Hi there! No, our devices will not affect hair color as they target the hair follicles for growth and not the hair itself.
How can I order from Greece? Amazon?
do you also use their serums or only the helmet?
Dr. Dray, could you review the iRestore LED face mask or offer any opinions on it?
Same question 😊
When you are on therapy for hair loss and the final step is applying minoxidil 5% do you wait for the hair to completely absorb the medication in order to use the irestore device before going to bed ? (Sorry just a silly question of mine 😅).
this is a good question! If the minoxidil is still damp on the skin, you want to let it dry before using the device
Nearly $2k??? Wow!!
Interesting video
Are there any downsides to using it back to back days? Sometimes I do 2-3 days in a row.
the elite device is meant to be used daily; the iRestore essential is not meant to be used daily, however, and doing so doesnt result in better outcomes. for that device, it is better to use it every other day
Nope. Ridiculously expensive.
❤❤❤
Does this work for dark skin or black hair?
Absolutely, it works on all hair colors! The device stimulates your hair follicles to promote growth, so it’s effective regardless of your hair color, age, gender, or skin tone.
Hi I bought the irestore professional device. Would you know if it’s normal to have slight sensitivity/very small scalp pain when pressing on the scalp a day after using the device? I have very sensitive skin usually to skin products usually natural things. Would you know if it’s something I may be to sensitive to and stop using it or that’s normal and to continue using? I did have a huge amount of hair shedding when using it.
I am almost sixty and seem to have plenty of hair. I wonder whether I need this thing? My husband is a little younger than I am and has plenty of silver hair. I wonder whether we need this in case we start losing hair because we are getting old. I don't want to get overconfident. But this is an expensive item. Hmmm.
Do you think red light therapy could help eyebrows which are sparse, probably due to aging and low thyroid issues? I'm 73and have taken thyroid medication for 30 years. Thanks for all your interesting videos.
Can you tell that texture is is going to mirror your current texture or is it closer to your younger self? Does this have any effect on the colour of new hair?
Super expensive 🙃
Happy Wednesday Dr Dray ….see you tomorrow x💙🤩
Do you use their extra products for fast hair growth?
Did Dr Dray just say “medical grade”?
Does this work on male pattern hair loss?

Is it safe for use during pregnancy?
Save your Money it dont work
Did you see the video dr. Gregor made about it?
I just purchased the pro, and I've been having alopecia since 2019. I hope this helps to shed less and grow some of what I have lost. At least I have 12 months to give it a try. Wish me well. 🤞🤞🤞

@@natasha390 She didn't, she discussed study results, not her personal experience.
Will this help with scarring alopecia?
Hello! Our devices are FDA-cleared to treat androgenic alopecia, also known as male or female pattern baldness. While some research and customer feedback suggest that low-level laser therapy might help with other types of hair loss, we still recommend consulting with your doctor for personalized medical advice.
Hey is finasteride low dose safe for hair loss? and what about oral minoxidil
Dr Dray does have videos on both of those (and so do other derms).
That's what I do
Is it ok for gray/silver hair? Will it affect or yellow gray hair?
it is okay for gray/silver hair and won't yellow the hair
Hi there - yes it works on all hair colors! The device stimulates your hair follicles for growth, not the hair itself, so it won't change the color at all.
Here he comes, here comes Speed Racer. He's a demon on wheels.

I got the Professional helmet last month, do you recommend using it everyday? Im using it two in two days has the site says.

@@iRestoreLaser Ah, so its ok not to use it everyday. Two in two days its ok. Ok, great, thank you!
Dr Dray, would love to hear your comments/feedbaxk on the new iRestore mask that just came out!
Been using my iRestore Elite helmet for 1 month now every day for 12 mins. Can confirm quite comfortable and easy to use. Been using it alongside my topical minoxidil foam daily so will need more time to properly see results.
Love the excitement around our new product! We'd be happy to address your questions but hope you find Dr. Dray's video on our Elite device insightful.
Thanks for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the comfort and ease of the iRESTORE Elite helmet. Pairing it with minoxidil is a smart approach, and it’s great that you’re committed to your routine. Keep us updated on your hair journey!
A temporary (and waaay cheaper) way of getting thicker hair is topical hair fibers. Brand names Toppix and Caboki are microscopic fibers made from cotton or wool that have been dyed and treated with a static charge. They come in lots of natural hair colors. You sprinkle it in your hair, and it sticks to the hair shaft and makes your hair thicker. It lasts until you wash out with shampoo. Cost about $25 for enough to last a month.
Dr Dray. Can you talk about hair loss and regrowth after chemotherapy. I recently completed chemo for ovarian cancer and lost all my hair. Now I’m anxiously waiting for hair to regrow. Would this red light therapy work for me? And why does the hair sometimes come back a different texture and color post chemo? Very interesting. Thanks.
It may help hasten the regrowth, but the hair will come back. The change in texture and color is common with chemo, and sometimes it is a temporary change. The hair follicle cells are very sensitive to the chemo medications and may alter the type of hair that regrows
