Why are those really short shots not fouls? Isn't the foul like like halfway down the table? Dude in the light shirt isn't getting 1/3rd the way down the table. This is a legit question as I'm getting a home table in a few days and I'm trying to learn. Thanks

There's a foul line before which isn't worth a point, but you can still use those shots for blocking.

I just dont get the strategy here, they purposefully throw off and set qiotes short. why not just sit some 3's up?
