About time Gordon, but dude, you need to get these models in a display case to stop the dust build up. Thanks for the shout out though, appreciate it mate
Can u like gift it to me my birthday is on 1st I am a car enthusiastic (aka a nerd) but I am gonna turn 15 my birthday never gets celebrated cause of the death of my brother on the same day so I can't get gifts and due to pandemic I don't even have a chance of asking of something
No need to apologize. It's your collection. I totally get it. You see something you like and you buy it. I'm the same but with knives. They are all over the place, 3 different pelican cases, my desk and night stand etc. I'm impressed that you know how much your collection cost. LOL Once I realized I was over $10k and had a lot more to calculate I gave up, I didn't want to think about it. LOL
I was on the path to own this many scale models but luckily I stopped myself before it could get out of hand. I find that these many cars turn into a store showroom rather that a beautifully curated selection of cars that I like to drool over. I have at the moment only 4 scale models: 1/12 Kyosho orange Lamborghini Countach, 1/18 CMC Porsche 901 in beige, 1/18 CMC Porsche 901 in green and 1/18 CMC Ferrari 912p coupe. I have these models scattered throughout my room in premium leather base display cases and I can stop and appreciate the beauty as I pass by.
Gordon, thank you for showing the collection and it's value. I just need to know where you live so I can get a closer look at that collection. Thanks boss.
Great collection you have! I have around 48 scale model cars along with 6 Hot Wheels cars. They are a lot of fun and dusting them off is like a therapeutic exercise to me. My favorite car is my AUTOart 1/18 Pagani Huayra Roadster in bright red and black.
Damn that's a nice collection. Any brands you guys would recommend for beginners, with accurate and well built models like these? I personally don't care if the wheels and steering don't move, i just want accuracy and build quality.
R H Get mainly resin ones. I know nothing about 1:18 other than the cheap ones look shit and the good ones cost a fortune. I have 1:43s which I think is big enough to see good details by the decent brands and the cheaper (or midrange) brands don't usually look too bad either because they are small enough that you can overlook some things. If you want a big collection that's the scale as you will still be able to display it. You'll end up broke at 1:18 scale unless you only have a few - but as you mentioned starting a collection my advice in a way is don't! Failing that, 1:43 scale. Also you will get more expensive ones as you build it up and start regretting some of the cheaper stuff. So just buy cars you love and dream of owning. And be patient - sometimes the new supercar gets superseded by a prettier one a few years later, or you impulse buy stuff you don't need. Good luck!
@@Tom_Hadler lol now I'm scared. 1:43 seems more plausible as I don't wanna go broke yet. What brands do you recommend, if any? I have an empty display case I found in my storage and I think I can fit around 20 models.
Awesome collection dude. If I ever managed to amass an equivalent I can assure you that either my kids would try to customize them or I would have sold them for pennies otd for some unspecified substance.
To be honest, it was your model car collection that inspired me to start collecting. I have about 20/25 1/43 scale race car collection (From MC12 Corsa, Zakspeed Ford Capri, Audi R8 LMS to the Mazda 787b and a Toyota TS050)
This kind of thing has always been a dream for me, how do you suggest I start my collection? Like is there a certain thing I should know before starting
Nice collection! You should have someone build an acrylic shelf display or custom wall flush shelves to show it off right. Add some LED backlighting if you wanna ball
Thanks man, I was thinknig about collecting every color of Koenigseggs but it got a bit repetitive. Time to flesh out the collection and get different models
I have a very large collection as well, but only openable models. Worst is autoart, with the best of my collection being CMC, Exoto, BBR and Fronti openable. Regera openable Fronti art by far is best detail. BBR openable enzo and F12 TDF is alright. CMC is just absolutely the king of the hill with real leather on seats
@@effspot you should buy the openable regera Fronti art. I believe everyone should have 1 verg very detailed openable model. The fronti art one, even the side windows can open. Cmc Models can use the single nut wheels and take wheels off
Your collection is incredible! This collection seriously deserves a nice room. Anyways, I actually have the AutoArt LP670-4 SV that is missing in your collection. It’s a pinkish red color. Very very hard to find. Keep it up!
Thank you for sharing that with us. I also collect model cars and have been doing it since the mid 90's. Most of mine are race cars. Love your collection you have great taste. Keep up the great work with your Vlogs.
Great collections! Im wondering r u still selling ur Autoart Diablo GTR? Im looking for dis one for a long time but can't find a good deal. BTW is the M3 CSL still selling rn?
Nice collection I collect aswell but I get the die cast cars and modify them ....been working on a 69 dodge charger with super bee widebody and a dodge viper chassis and drivetrain
Wait until you get 48 scale model cars along with 6 Hot Wheels cars.... in a bedroom! You are surrounded by cars when it gets up to that point. Still though, its a fun hobby.
Hello Gordon you seem to have good contacts everywhere, if you can help to find two models from MR collection, it will be great! Lamborghini Aventador coupe Pirelli edition white isis/nero nemesis 1/18 Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster 50 Japan anniversary ( water version ) 1/18
Amazing random batch of cars, but I'm desperately reaching through my phone with my air can and fine cloths to help clean.. arrggh, my OCD, please get yourself some nice sealed cabinets!
I am a collector of the 1/18 old muscle. Not near the number you have but most of mine are out of production. I started collecting in 1988, my prize possession would by my 49 Tucker. You probably don't have the one I am looking for (79 Ralley Sport Camaro)
nice collection, i see some plastic straps on some of your resin models. Better to rmove them for display and only use them for transport. They can damage the paint / decals if they are on it for a long time. :)
About time Gordon, but dude, you need to get these models in a display case to stop the dust build up. Thanks for the shout out though, appreciate it mate
Thanks Rob! I watch every video you post, you are the authority on 1/18s! I know, I need to get some cases hahaha good lord
But Rob, we need your full collection tour aswell in the near future. You added so many nice models since the last full tour :)

I'm in the same boat. I need a display case...but those are so damn expensive lol
hey man you sell any web site ? i currently own a couple of autoarts and trying to get more possibly from other brands
2 years later and we get a model car vid.
Long overdue! If you look at my first model car collection, you can see how few I had. Whoops
effspot I guess it was a year ago. Feels like two tho. 😂
Be patient

Thanks man appreciate it. It's more about the hunt honestly. I need to appreciate the model cars more!
Your collection is awesome. Maybe one day I will start buy this diecast or buy real Lamborghini and get the diecast model for free
Dreams do come true
I would honestly just buy the lambo for the free model
You can do it work hard you got this
I wish that too!!!
Thanks guys! Appreciate it.
I collect 1:18 Ferrari's. Message me about that laf in dark red carbon, ill buy it! awesome collection
This actually a cool hobby, these things probably appreciate over time. And owning all those cars for real would be a challenge lol
A lot of them do appreciate, but a lot also depreciate or hold their prices. The hunt is definitely exciting!
4k the whole lot second hand.
Solid collection! I've got about 20 1/43 scale so far, slowly but surely getting some 1/18's into the mix as well. So addicting!
I've been waiting. I collect 1/24 scale models! Such a nice collection you got.
Thanks man! Keep up the collecting: )
you should make the leap to 1/18 scale, Maisto and Bburago make some solid models for under $50 :)
Yeaa...i collect all sizes...and i already reached 126 cars...i really like my 1 24 and 1 18 cars...mostly maisto cars
