THE KING OF FIGHTERS '97 (ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ '97 ) is a fighting game, originally released by SNK in the year 1997 for Arcade/Neo Geo, and also later released for Playstation, Saturn, iOS, Android, Neo Geo CD, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, XBOX One, Playstation Vita and PC. Some of the latest releases have been named The King of Fighters '97: Global Match, which makes it possible with the online match feature.

One correction: the distance of M. Dynamite's Super Swing (↓→↓→ + K) is not defined by the strength of the kick button, it seems random, I didn't find out if there is another criteria.

Can you please tell me whats the extra mode? Like whats it for? Does the power never decrease in that mode? Because i saw that after each attack, the power bar kept getting refilled

- In Extra you can use Desperation Moves without limits when the life bar is flashing, like in Fatal Fury
- You can't run, you hop when pressing →→ or ←←
- You can charge your power bar pressing LP+LK+HP
- You can't roll, but you can dodge pressing LP+LK
There are more things, but these are the most noticeable
