GBO2 Atlas Gundam: Flying monster of a suit!

- This video contains two recent matches I had with the LV1 Atlas Gundam on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 600 cost general with full flight abilities, two fast cooldown instant staggers, two powerful melee weapons, very high mobility and a sub weapon which can completely disable the enemies flight system. Its big two weaknesses would be lack of fast stun accumulation along with it being rather large, though it isn't quite as large as a Byarlant overall. I think that this suit is really strong but quite hard to use at the same time. I was tired while playing and don't think I did quite as well as I could have, but I still feel like I showed off the suit well enough. I can't go over every aspect of the Atlas Gundam here since the full hidden stats are not available on the Japanese wiki yet, so I will just explain what we know so far and why I think it is good. The suit has a 5.5 second cooldown stun railgun primary and a 5 second cooldown stun grenade launcher secondary, which means you can easily restrain enemies for your approach before unleashing your powerful melee. You have a 2300 power single saber and a 2600 power double saber, so by chaining these together in combos you can rack up huge amounts of damage. Though the double saber downswing has an awkward hitbox and I think you can see me missing it a bit in these two matches, so practice is required. It has a 200 power per shot, 250m range and 6 second reload machine gun secondary that has no problems with accuracy, so you can use this after a stun shot if you can't enter melee. I don't think I was able to showcase this but it also has a missile launcher secondary which although it does not stun, it forcefully disables the enemies flight system or sub legs flight system skill, making it extremely powerful when facing other flying MS. It only has 150m range though.
The durability seems kinda mediocre at first with 17500 HP, 20 beam/ballistic resist and 26 melee resist. Though the suit has a 30% reduction shield buffer and 35% reduction sub legs buffer, so it is actually fairly bulky considering how often these areas will be hit. It has LV1 Maneuver Armor so even if you aren't flying you can get stagger resistance.
Mobility is pretty outstanding as well. 135 walk speed, 225 boost speed, 75 thrust and 84 turning speed makes you easily one of the fastest 600 cost suits. Your mobility skills makes this even better with access to both LV3 Forced Injector and Emergency Evasion, which are normally exclusive to 700 cost MS. The star skill though I think is the Sub Legs Flight System skill. This acts pretty much exactly the same as regular flight system but it can also be used underwater. This lets you easily gain the upper hand by abusing this height advantage to attack enemies from above. You can also take on other flight suits by using the same mechanics as they do.
Overall I think that the Atlas Gundam will be one of the best 600 cost generals once people get used to it. It easily counters the dangerous Byarlant Custom with its high melee damage and flight disabling sub weapon. It occupies a similar role as Byarlant Isolde but over this it has two instant staggers, stronger melee, flight disabling sub weapon and far better durability. I can definitely recommend rolling for the Atlas if you are a fan of flying suits or want to learn them. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!

This thing just seems good in general. It might be a monster in the water but it seems like it could be a monster anywhere even with maps with no water. Also dunno why it can't go to space. It's been used in space in the manga.
Clearly the devs never read the manga 😏
Flight underwater will be so crazy, I don't think the current aquatics will stand a chance at all.

If you send this to space then its flight ability gone right to the trash and it becomes lowkey suit?
@vucongat5802 it could work like transforming suits. Using the Ski flight mode would give you a massive speed boost in space.

Suit just came out, and you already look like an expert with it! I think this one will really shine when it gets a 650 to do something about Delta Kai and all the other annoying waverider combos

Level 3 FI and EE with lvl 1 MA for a 600 gen, chainstun and loop capability, high overall stats, and high damage melee. Holy fucking shit 600 is gonna be hell once people roll this thing en masse
Tried my luck with this thing and did a single, oh boy what came out was very unexpected, a freakin unicorn so yeah very lucky with that single pull
I won't lie Atlas look pretty damn good in Titans colors but the original color scheme still slaps.

Is it an amphibious suit or flight suit? It's both.
For only 2 maps with underwater sections and those maps, at least in my case, I have never seen in gams +400 cost.
wow this thing is OP haha. While looking at the Custom parts, I'm wondering if a Guntank or something similar would be viable with bunch of Beam and Melee protection. Something with crazy armor.
If you have the right overtune parts you can make Guntank LV4 really bulky but I usually prefer to use overtune shooting with that instead. I saw somebody online made a LV4 Dreissen build using this new overtune HP part that gets 30k HP with good resistances.

Only had 90 tokens when this thing dropped. I really wanted the other Thunderbolt Suits so I rolled on them once each and didn't get any of them. Didn't get Atlas either. I need a better melee 600 general.
Might be best to save for the next 4 star then

The buff is absolutely amazing. Consistent 160% stun accumulation with the shotgun that easily stops suits like Phenex, Moon Gundam or Sinanju. I can afford to use all the slots for durability know since I don't need to worry about the cooldown of the belly megaparticle cannon, the shotgun has enough accumulation to not worry. LV3 Leg Buffer makes it really hard to take down.

im fuming they didnt give queb mk1 MA but a skill at 30% that actively needs it to be useful
also the mk2 version of the skill gives it more stun resist AGAIN

Yeah I am really happy that Sazabi got buffed. The changes feel great and I am already trying to record some footage with it to upload.
Yeah no MA skill seems bad at first but after playing it myself I think that the changes are amazing. It can easily accumulate by combining the lock on funnels and 50% stun value arm beam. +50m range for both lock on funnels lets you much more easily get them off. The 30% HP skill is really nuts since it means you take -50% shooting damage, -50% time to reload funnels, -20% lock-on time, can lock on while boost and +5 to walking/boosting speed. It even feels kinda alright in 700 cost.
@@avenger1_gbo260 fair nuff also i never noticed it had 50% primary stun vs the mk2 insta stun. the mk2 and ezz are disgusting moreso then before and the spartan bd three swing was nice. the FA gundams feel better to use and the xanthos has a skill to help snipe more vs being a midline aggressive support
also i got atlas on the half pull still going for the custom part but your vid def gave me the right mindset for it
its hard to land 3 downswing w it given the timing and lunging but ive done it a couple times the dmg is ridiculous

What’s your control settings for that?
I use default controls. I think it is the best for flight suits or space combat unless you have some sort of controller with extra buttons.

@@avenger1_gbo260 It depends on the gundam's player Gundams put with the right players make them more powerful then what it seems like, Me and My 650 ZZ Gundam turn 4 stars to 2 stars in a second.
