Hello Prakhar.. I have a query regarding the DCP program... Having never left the country, I am both excited and concerned... Can you tell me what other expenses do I need to bear when in Dubai apart from the parties n luxuries that I myself get into...do I need to pay fr the food in clg as per meal or is it monthly? and approximately how much does it cost for a decent lifestyle with seldom outing? I thank u in anticipation..

I have 56% in undergrad , should i pursue MBA? am I gonna be able to sit for placements ?
Don't know about placements ....but you should go for MBA if you want to.....I got 57.25% in Undergraduate....prepared 3months for CAT and got 93.5%il.....i got 11 b-school interview calls including IMT, IMI, GLIM, FORE etc......and thanks to our almighty I got an admission offer letter from IMT yesterday .....go for it dude ...have that courage ..nothing will be impossible

Hey, What is the average summer internship stipend for marketing students?
Also final placements for Marketing students of DCP batch?
I have heard they are good for marketing students
And how much do students usually get from STP and Gitex?
1. So honestly, I do not have much idea about Summer Internship Stipend for marketing students as I did mine in India but my guess is anywhere between 2000-6000 AED - but I strongly urge you to check this with some DCPian who did the internship there
2. For final placements there is no discrimination between FT & DCP students. Final placements for marketing students were pretty decent overall - so that includes DCP as well
3. STP really depends from company to company: For me food & travel were taken care off but I was paid nothing... It can vary from unpaid STP to maybe 1000-2000 AED.
But I personally advise, at this stage, don't go after the money - instead look for what will really add value to you as a student of Marketing/ Business
4. GITEX again I'm not sure but I think between 1000-3000 AED; this again kindly confirm with someone from the current batch.
You can get their leads from Quora or simply searching for IMT DCP on FB as well

Can you please tell me how did you find Internship here in India and what advice would you suggest for someone who has no contacts in good Indian companies to approach them for the internship? And if you don't mind asking why didn't you do the internship in Dubai since you were a Marketing student?
And any rough figure for final placements for Marketing students only (DCP ) would be a real great help.

As far as summer internship is concerned, fortunately I had connections in some good companies in India & since I wanted to experience working in an FMCG organisation & that option was available to me, I went for it - nothing got to do with Dubai itself: just that I had an option in India which I wanted, so went for it.
Doing an internship at Dubai would most probably have been a paid one, I did an unpaid one in India but I was a conscious call I took.
For someone who has no contacts: Unfortunately, the only way I can think of is build them through the year via LinkedIn, friends, family etc. Ask your friends or faculty to help - someone you know must have the contacts, else it is difficult.
But don't worry, usually professors or connections through some friends is possible - but you have to be proactive about it
For marketing I think 98-99% of the batch has been placed - DCP Marketing that is

Can you please give any rough idea about DCP Marketing Students Final Placement? Like average of your classmates in second year since you were in Marketing specialisation, all of you.
@@786sahul Marketing was also largely in this range only... Again, like I mentioned before, no discrimination between DCP & FT when it comes to final placements...
So 10-15 LPA stands valid for DCP Marketing as well...
There was a very small chunk that got above 15 & a small chunk that got in the range of 7-10, but majority got 10-15 LPA, CTC mind you
How is imt dcp
hello bro am a slow learner student is it good to take mba ? and maths is importent in mba ?
Okay so if you are a slow learner than mba won't be an issue but clearing the cat itself will be an challenge! If you can clear cat than mba won't trouble you!
Now the importance of maths depends on field ! Like its not needed in Marketing but will be req for data science !
Secondly if you have troubles while learning your daily lessons and you find yourself lagging behind! Then I'll suggest to start learning few things before going for an mba you placements could be struggle
Is there 100 percent placement in dcp programe
There is no 100% placement guarantee either for Full Time or DCP.
Having said that, this year Placements have been really fantastic with almost 98% of the batch being placed - companies are still coming to campus for those yet unplaced...
Those unplaced are a mix of both Full Time and DCP - so as such no differentiation per say between Placements of DCP or Full Time

For the DCP Program (which this video is about), placements happen at the Ghaziabdad campus. You can check the IMT Ghaziabad website to get an idea about placements. As for IMT Dubai, I am not the right person to ask - suggest you connect with some Full Time IMT Dubai student
@@prakharbhargava2274 I am assuming since you are 2017-19 batch student you must be done with your placement now, can you tell me how was the overall placement scenario for the dcp students? Was it par with the rest of the student or there were any issues?

@@shardulgawde3199 Placements have gone really well this year (with almost 98% of the batch placed) - those unplaced are a mix of Full Time as well as DCP; so overall placements of DCP have been at par with Full Time.
Also companies are still coming for students that are yet unplaced so hoping to hit a 100% this year
How much overhead expense happens for one year in Dubai ?

So that really varies from individual to individual.
If your expenses are nominal, 500-700 AED per month is more than good enough...
If you are someone who travels a lot, clubbing/ partying, frequent shopping etc. can go up to 1500-2000 AED per month
