One of the best toy grade fixed pitch helicopters. The V911, 912 and 913 are all very good. This is one of those models that has been around for years and years for a reason.
This heli is Hobby Grade (just about) as all the parts of this copter can be ordered as replacements. The ability to order spare parts to fix damage or upgrade on any rc model is what seperates it from toys, and the price as well. Nice video
You probably dont care at all but does someone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Hassan Gideon i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Amazing helicopter, 4 years later and I ordered a V912 brushless and arriving in a few weeks. I own a WLotys V913 but it's under repair waiting for a small part to arrive.
It's a great little intro Heli. If you get bored with it, check out the BLADE 230S: www.horizonhobby.com/product/helicopters/aircraft-featured-in-realflight/blade-helicopters/blade-230-s-v2-bnf-basic-blh1450 It has stability mode...much like flying a drone. Then, you can switch into full stunt mode. I learned on this one, along with a lot of sim time.
@@andyg.3509 I heard good things about the Blade 230S. I'll probably just keep it within those two chopters, since my main interest is drones. Parrot and Hubsan.
Brushless for the V912 means only the main motor is brushless. The tail motor stays a brushed motor. In this case, it s the best way to order 2 or 3 from china for about 4€ each.
No problem Haiden. Keep in mind the main brush motor wears out quickly on this, so you may want to order an extra. It's hard to work on! If you decide Heli's are your thing and want to jump in the deep end, get the Blade 230s...great trainer with stability mode and get a simulator. The V912 did get me hooked though. Skyward!
After my v912 crash from 3 meters height, no longer fly anymore even main blade still spin.Main blade seems still in good condition. How to fix the problem? Thank you
Great little helicopter. I have the brushless version. Unfortunately the tail motor pinion gear strips easily, and it is a spare part you should keep on hand. They only sell it already mounted to a tail motor, so you have to solder a new motor on when you strip the gear. It doesn't take much to have it fail. A longer tail protector may help, but it seems to be an inherent weakness in the design, as I had one strip for known reason whatsoever. Probably the best solution is to retrofit a bevel gear tail motor assembly on this heli, such as found on the V950.
I modyfied the tailprotector with a cut off piece from a crashed e sky wich broke a link and was trashed afterwards and this vl 912 worc fine, newer issues with gears but it is brushed and replased both motors ,tail and main ,a bit time consuming 1 hour but worth it so can fly it again.
The V912 tx will work on a V911, not sure about the other way around. You might lose some features, such as higher rate button, light on /off, and higher rate tail switch.
Thanks Mike. Definitely get the brushless version of any heli b/c the brush versions wear out quick. I've since graduated to the Blade 230S, can fly inverted, do rainbows, and do some funnels too. I'm obsessed with this hobby. Very rewarding! Cheaper than a bass boat too.
Its hobby grade..you make what you want of it and best part no cp to fool for hours with and still not fly right...then when you crash this will be cheaper to fix...dont get me wrong i love fiddleing with my esky 450
Hi Areld. All depends upon how deep down the rabbit hole you want to go. I would have to say something by Blade on Horizon hobby. Something with stability mode that is "RTF". RTF means it comes with the radio. However, I bought my radio, Dx6i with Phoenix simulator that has helped me tremendously. I got the Blade 230 and love it. You could go with the something a little smaller and cheaper. This hobby is incredibly rewarding.
Not sure Kim, but I don't think so. If you're wanting to go the cam/video route, then I would suggest going with a drone. Most people that fly Heli's don't do the camera thing...nothing wrong with that, just depends on what you want to do.
Super nice video!

@Hassan Gideon It worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you saved my account :D
@Antonio Rhys You are welcome =)
My neighbor just gave me 2 of these and transmitters plus supplies! Fun! Even more when they're free!
Right on man. Enjoy! (take it slow if you've never flown). Cheers.

Why is it called a 4 channel, where there is only a throttle, a yaw and one servo to tilt the main rotor wash plate?
Thank you Andy I was stuck between the v913 and the v912 and seeing on how this one flies i am for sure getting the v912

Essa cor do helicóptero lembra o capacete do Ayrton Senna. Ficou top. Parabéns
Sim, é quaser igual
Great little helicopter
How many minutes does he fly
My motors keeps going out and it’s having trouble binding. Is it cuz of the battery not being charged enough?

Great little fixed pitch heli, although heavy. Would be nice if someone made a carbon fiber frame for it.
I have the V911 and V913....will either of these transmitters work with the V912 BNF? if not what would be an inexpensive TX for the V912....
Sorry Gary, can't say for sure. Maybe ask on Banggood.com ?
The V912 tx will work on a V911, not sure about the other way around. You might lose some features, such as higher rate button, light on /off, and higher rate tail switch.
Nice video I had 1 gave it to my kids to play with
Thanks man. Did it survive?
Ya it’s fun to play with
Great demo! You're good with flying in all positions...Nose in and such. How's the heli...I'm thinking of getting the brushless version.

I keep watching this. I think maybe it's because the camera work is so good.
Is it rtf ?

It appears to be somewhat heavy. A lot for the price though.
hey dude..what is the best cheap hobby grade rc?

Aapna ya helicopter keha sa khreda hai kitna ma khreda hai
Nice video
Thanks!
Is it good for indoor and is it durable. How long last battery life and have you changed it or is it still working now?Thx for your reply
does it flies upside down
Probably just once (It's not collective pitch).
Can I attach a camera to this ?
Not sure Kim, but I don't think so. If you're wanting to go the cam/video route, then I would suggest going with a drone. Most people that fly Heli's don't do the camera thing...nothing wrong with that, just depends on what you want to do.
Andy G. My battery charger keeps blinking how do I fix it
Kim MacPherson yes you can I believe it's around$20
Yes no problem, i use a Denver action cam , tape it under the gears with papertape and it,s no problem.
Too much vibration whit a helicopter, better whit a drone
WOW
Gostaria muito de ter um v912 pena que aqui no Brasil é muito caro já faz muito tempo que estou batalhando para poder comprar um ..
I love to ingeniering❤
مرحبا صدیقی رجاء اشکیت سعر هذا الهلیکوبتر
