- I've started embroidering "butterfly".
I wanted to make a frame that combines butterflies and wisteria flowers, so I made a video from creating the original design to embroidering.
It was getting long, so I'll continue in the next video.

＝ Shizusa silk embroidery ＝
When I started working as a Japanese embroidery craftsman,
I had the opportunity to see a practice cloth embroidered by an old craftsman.
I remember that the detailed and careful embroidery was so beautiful that I couldn't believe it was practice.
Since then, I have made it a habit to spend time doing embroidery outside of work.
The design is based on "Japanese designs and pictures that have been loved for a long time".
I would be happy if everyone could sympathize with the cuteness of the designs and the excitement of crafts!

わたしも先日、初めて蝶々🦋を刺繍しました。
パッチワークヘキサゴンを縫い繋いでバッグを作る予定（パッチワークも初トライ）所々、無地の生地に小さな刺繍を拵えて♡
いまは生地繋ぎを頑張ってチクチクしています😻

I like the way you stitched the butterflies antenna. It looked like you made a loop with the floss and secured it along the way with small stitches instead of doing like a back stitch. I'd have to try that. Your butterfly is beautiful. I'd like to try learning how to do this type of stitching. 😊

It’s beautiful! I’ve been learning Japanese Embroidery the last couple years and will be in Japan in the Fall. Do you have any recommendations for shops that sells embroidery supplies like silk thread, fabric, and tools?

There is a needle shop in Kyoto called ``Misuya Bari''. It's a small shop, but it has a long history and a nice appearance.

濃色を使う際に、『あれ、これだとキツく見えてしまうかな？』って思いがちですが、引きで見ると意外と馴染んでることってありませんか？
私は色を確認するために顔を刺繍台に寄せたり引いたりして傍から見ると不審者ムーブしてしまうことあります(笑)

そうなんです！意外と大丈夫だったなということがありますよね😺地色にも左右されますし、色は奥が深いです。
私も時々引きで確認するようにしていて、刺繍に集中すると狭い面積しか見えてないんだな〜と気づきます。たしかに傍から見るとおかしな動きかもですね🤭
iPadは使わないのですか？iPadでプロクリエイトと言うアプリがあって、有料ですが買い切りです。下絵を書いたら写真を撮って読み込み、使う予定の糸の写真も撮って色を読み込むことができます。それで色を塗ってみては？写真なので全く同じ感じにはならないとは思うけどイメージをつかむのに良いのではないでしょうか？
iPadは持っていないので使えないのですが、色を読み込めるのは便利そうですね！今まで色鉛筆だったので正確にはイメージしづらくて…😅
特に大きなサイズの作品を作る時にその様なアプリがあると良さそうだなと思います😊教えていただきありがとうございます！
