- Calling out Guarantee Trust Bank GTB To Fix Their New GTWorld Banking App. The popular saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" comes into play here. With the new GTWorld update, you will be logged out of your Banking app and if you run into any problem as little as a network problem, you won't be able to use the app.
In the video, I showed a work around for now and hoping GTB fixes the new app.

I want to make a transfer, and no place to put amount. I thought witches have invaded my app.No place to put amount.What do I do?

The App could show off sometimes
I tried to login when I updated the app. It kept saying “phone number exists with multiple accounts”. Apparently, I used my mums number to open the account because I’m a student and she needed to monitor all my transactions whenever I’m in school. Now I have to go to the bank and change the number😂

I haven't tied to change that. Transfer PIN is something I never wish to forget because that will be a lot of stress to replace or change

I don't know if the old app still works but you can download the apk (if you are on Android) from the video description and install
Do you know how to turn off the sound for transfers pls?
I have no idea but maybe you can turn on vibration or silent mode when you want to use it

You have to go to bank and fill indemnity form. You can increase it up to ₦5 million for individual account

You can do it from Internet banking if you have hard token else go to the bank and fill the indemnity form

There's no such option to remove beneficiaries... Another feature they should add if you ask me

Code required for international money (wire) transfer. Each back has a unique swift code
Please GTB should review this upgrade or revert back to the former app. So frustrating to use this new one
It could be frustrating at times but they've been adding small small updates to the new app

The new UI / UX is far better and the reason for the vast change was necessary for modern look.
I might only agree with that login issues and it's lack of features but I'm sure the app and the UI/UX is here to stay and will only get updates
They could have at least added dark theme to the older design and make the shift gradually. UX/UI argument is always subjective but good to know that we agree on the functionality and the absolute mess of logging people out after update and the sign up process being poor. At the end we all want a functional app that can do the basics
I just wonder what modern look you are talking about, simplicity is always the best. The updated app is a mess

The new app is very great, both the UI and ux experience
The introduction was very poor and it took lots of updates to make it stable. And somehow, it could still log you out after app update. But generally, it has good UX/UI design
It's very annoying. Since I installed it. I've not been able to make transfer
I still have another video to call out GTB for another poor service. I hope they'd hear
I found it difficult to transfer to new beneficiaries asides those already saved on the app. Honestly the old app was more functional and easy to use compared to the new gtco app
They traded functionality for dark theme.

@SmartDepot I didn't find the old apk in the description sir,i have never used the app before so i have no password to sign in.
If you have not used the app before you may have to go to bank and activate your Internet banking. If you already have internet banking on Computer, use the login details to login the app or you do a fresh sign up from the app

The new gtbank app is a very stupid app …. In my own case it’s asking me to put an answer to the secret question .i can’t even remember putting

Very useless and stupid bank. Annoying bank. Other banks are improving and they just USELESS. I have been trying to transfer for days but its just impossible. Totally useless
There was a time there services were very good though. I don't think it has reached the point of Uselessness but the new app is poorly built and lacked lots of features of the previous app
