16:28 young people in Kenya through youth led volunteer organisations are the environmental champions in Kenya today. Some examples are the Rotaract clubs, institutional based clubs, even church based clubs. They take up environmental initiatives without even really understanding the key concepts of climate change and Environmental Sustainability. Young people need to be capacity build through education and financial resources to change the narrative. 19:04 a set system without struggle is the ultimate solution, empowering the young demographic is essential.

Elizabeth is very articulate in addressing the youth needs in addressing the climate issues affecting our continent. I am so glad that we have such bright minds representing us in the summit. I am really hoping for the best summit outcomes. I shall be attending the summit too even though I am not affliated with any organization. I am an environmentalist at heart and I hope to find a way to join other youths and actively participate in driving meaningful climate solutions. I am also certain that there are other such youths out here who would like to be part of the solutions but they lack the channels to participate. I hope the summit will be an eye opener to me on identifying ways to drive climate solutions in my environment. I also hope to meet more youths and to create meaningful networks @africaclimatesummit
